UPDATE 2 months later - never mind. May be my favorite purchase
UPDATE - well, sadly, it’s barely even been two months and this is already going out on me. This now gives off a green ring around the moon - and the light is beginning to dim (I did also try with other outlets/plugs and it’s a no go….)Yes this is cheap so I guess you get what you paid for but I’m disappointed something that worked so well had such a short shelf life smh. This light exceeded my expectations in every way! For the price I figured I wouldn’t be too impressed and thought maybe it’d be something I just use once or twice and then kinda put it to the side. But to my surprise this works amazingly. The projection is very clear and the image is great quality. If you’ve got a textured ceiling, this will make the moon look even more realistic! If you’re someone who goes “look at the moon!” Then I promise you will not be disappointed. I haven’t gone a night without using this so far.

Nice moon projector lamp
This is one of the BEST pieces moon lamp projector I had buy. It’s going to one of my granddaughters school, the teacher asked for one I found this one and it will be great for her kindergarten class.I love stargazing and I absolutely love this, is one of the most realistic moonlight, it really exceeded my expectations. I’m buying one for myself.Is very small, looks like a reading gooseneck light, but when you turned on and start projecting wow is so pretty, you can project in the ceiling or walls. Nice recommended.

So simple and effective
Ordered this for my daughter’s “two the moon” birthday party and she is obsessed. It looked great as decor, and now she loves aiming it at different things and demands it’s on at all times. It casts off a decent glow on its own and gives great ambient lighting — could be used as a nightlight even.
