You get what it says on the tin
Just got my gears. Perfect to start ,quality of rods are good. Not sure about the net which is good overall but I doubt it will hold a 10 pounds carps or other big fish as handle seems to he fragile. In metal will have been better but hey for the prices it's a great product and if you want to please someone ,get it.

Good starter kit
Based on a starter kitReels 4.5/5 very good starter reelsRods 3/5 standard starter rodsBobbins 1/5 they work ishAlarms 3.5/5 work fine but no specific colour configurationRod pod 2.5/5 does the jobBags 4/5 nice size bags and decent quality.Leads are fine (ish) 1.5oz but really you want inline 3.0 oz leads for most entry level carpingHooks/Rigs 0/5 definitely get a friend to make up some rigs, or buy some better quality ones. Rigs are perhaps the only item that let this set down. Had one run on a bream and the hook bent straight away.Landing mat 1.5/5 will get you on most commercial lakes but anything bigger than 10lb you may struggle a bit.Net 2.5/5 very standard but flimsy netBelieve I’ve covered the important parts, overall this is a fairly decent bit of kit for very entry level anglers who do not want to buy their items individually or do not have much knowledge carping.

It’s ok, but the rod pod is not great
Used this bundle for the first time last week, the rod Holdall is great as is the bag, the rods and reels are great for start up. The rod pod however is not, I used it once and found it rather flimsy, hard to secure any of the screw fixings as the threads are awful, one has completely broke on first use, There is over tightening! And then there is being being able to secure the pod, bite alarms etc, all facing the right way! The bobbins arnt great either.So all in all I’m really happy with some of this kit but disappointed with some also. The supplier has replaced the pod for me, willing to give it another go.

OK but not brilliant
The media could not be loaded. Got this as wanted something that I could start carp fishing with but wouldn't break the bank as I plan to upgrade as I go along. The rods, reels and bags seem OK but haven't used them yet....The rod pod and bobbins are rubbish. Threads won't tighten and very flimsy. Have emailed the seller about this. Wasn't expecting top of the range equipment for the money paid but would like something I can actually use!
