I recently added the ESV Journaling Study Bible to my collection, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite resources for Bible study and verse mapping. What I appreciate most is that it isn’t just a Bible with study notes, it invites you to interact with God’s Word. got this as a gift for my sister and she loves it. the pages have plenty of room and they aren’t too thin to write on! i honestly wanted to even keep it for myself hehe

This Bible is gorgeous! My previous ESV study bible had too small of print and the pages were too thin. So I was having a hard time reading the text because of the visible text from the other side of the page. This one is wonderful as the pages feel very substantial to me. i have not yet written in it yet and am in search of the perfect highlighter and pen to use but I am not concerned about bleed through. But for all the folks saying it has tissue paper thin pages, I feel they have not truly experienced tissue paper thin. One of the pictures attached shows my old Bible on the left compared with this new one. Just the transparency through the paper should give you an idea of how different (and better) the pages feel. I highly recommend this Bible if you are looking for a solid journaling AND study Bible. It really has everything I was looking for in one. It is sturdy enough for me to tote around and the storage box for the shelf is an added bonus to keep it looking good. 👍

I am used to KJV bibles and since I started attending another church that uses this version, I swapped my Bible. I love that I can take notes in this and I also have another notebook I use with it. Its easier to understand and I find myself reading more. The cover does pick up some lint here and there. I have a dog and cat. I like that it comes with a sleeve you can store it in. The only thing is that its heavy but it has increased my faith and I have learned a lot from it because it has explanations of the scriptures. I have recommended this to friends and family.

This Bible is not only beautiful but is incredibly helpful in truly understanding His word. I specifically was looking for a a Bible that was beautiful, a study Bible, and had space for me to jot down notes during sermons or during private Bible study time. I am incredibly pleased with my purchase. I wish I would have done it sooner. The print is maybe smaller than what I would have imaged but that does not bother me. The pages are thinner but all bible pages are thin. Bible specific highlighters and pens work just fine with it! I added tabs for the books if the Bible too which has been helpful!

Great concept to make a bible with added note taking space on each page. I also like the cloth hardback cover. Its a bit wide, making it a bit difficult to hold up to read, if that's what you're used to doing. But it has great maps, (many which I really like to refer to), and ESV is a good version in my opinion.

Our older daughter liked this same Bible we got for her and her younger sister liked hers so much we got hervyounger sister the same Bible when she was ready to graduate from a more young-child-friendly version. She loves it and has used it exclusively since she got it. She likes the blank note-taking sections on each page, the references, maps, index, the ribbon placeholders, the sleeve case it came in to protect it, and the study notes below each page!!

So impressed with this Bible! I almost didn’t write a review, because there are already so many, but just had to share the information at the end of the Bible. There is a section called articles and resources. If you plan to buy this Bible don’t overlook it! It’s a gold mine of info. How to read your bible, how to apply what you have read, important Christian truths of doctrine, and ethics.

Beautiful bible. Has lots of room for writing in the columns. Lays flat. Has a lot of info in the back of the bible for new believers. Got this at a great price point for 30 dollars on sale.

Bible is really beautiful, I love the cover and there’s space for me to write me notes when I read my bible. So simple yet elegant. I love my old bible but some chapters don’t enough space to write my notes, So I thank God I was able to buy this bible

I already owned a study Bible, but I love this one even more. It goes into greater detail with clear descriptions, making it easier to learn and understand. I also like that it connects with the Crossway app, so you can listen along if you ever struggle to follow or read certain parts.
