I've loved hibiscus tea for decades, and this one is stellar!The tea is very delicious, brightly colored and strongly flavored, and the tea bag contents seem very fresh. J Mac Botanicals Organic Hibiscus Tea Bags, 50 countI often enjoy an herbal tea in the evenings because they are caffeine free, and hibiscus has been one of my favorites for years. I’ve enjoyed blends that include hibiscus, but I also appreciate the mildly fruity, somewhat tart flavor of 100% hibiscus as well. These tea bags didn’t disappoint.The 50 tea bags arrived in a resealable bag, which I appreciated. The bags are not individually wrapped; they are loose inside the main bag. There are no unnecessary strings or tags; a simple spoon works well. I placed one tea bag in my glass and then added 8 ounces of hot water from our Keurig machine (it’s a handy feature for tea enthusiasts), allowed the tea to steep for about 7 minutes (6 is recommended but I usually go a little over) and my tea was a beautiful red color, had a light floral aroma, and had a deep hibiscus flavor. I can drink this tea without sweetener, but I added just the tiniest amount to reduce the tartness to my desired level. Delicious.These tea bags are USDA Organic and the bag states that the tea is sourced from Egypt and packaged in the U.S. The tea I received in March 2023 is marked Best By 04/2025.

I love drinking tea but I’ve never had hibiscus tea before until now. Taste is highly subjective but I really enjoyed it. I usually drink Earl Grey with milk in the morning but I prefer something lighter in the afternoon so now I can have hibiscus tea. I like the tart taste and I’ve been enjoying it with other fruits to balance out the tartness. It is akin to cranberries or even granny smith apples without the hint of sweetness. I love that it’s certified organic and packaged in the USA. The bags are loose and not individually wrapped but it’s OK because I’ll only be having this tea at home. The bag is resealable and seems sufficient enough. I do prefer individually wrapped teas when it comes to more fragrant teas but these don’t have any discernible aroma to me so it’s not a big deal. Overall, I really enjoy the tartness of this tea and I feel refreshed and energized after drinking it. I would recommend it and I’d give it 4.8/5.0 - 03/16/2023.

This tea is wonderful, as I knew it would be as soon as I opened the bag and smelled the lovely hibiscus aroma. It is 100% USDA organic hibiscus and the flavor makes it obvious that this tea does not have any cellulose or other plant material mixed in.The color is a rich and vibrant reddish-purple and the taste is just what you'd expect -- a rich and tart floral-berry flavor.There are 50 individual tea bags and they come in a resealable pouch to preserve freshness.This tea is exactly what I was needing this afternoon to help alleviate my anxiety. It's naturally caffeine free - which is a must when my anxiety is high.I love this tea and I'm sure I'll buy more of it in the future.(Made in USA from flowers grown in Egypt)
