Paula Vogel Is A National Treasure
As with "The Baltimore Waltz' and "How I Learned to Drive", the playwright is able to take on content that others would treat in a more heavy-handed, on-the-nose manner and infuse it with her own love of humanity and deceptively light touch to create a truly memorable theatrical experience.

Indecent rocks!
Thank you Paula Vogel. This is a brilliant piece of writing. I read the original play by Sholem Asch a few months ago, so was somewhat prepared for your version, but you bring such outstanding creativity by blending the real life situations of the cast and involved persons with one of the major themes of the play - the lesbianism - that I was thoroughly entertained and also moved to tears. I hope some day to be able to see your play.

It was amazing. One of the most beautiful plays I've seen ...
I saw the Broadway show about a year and a half ago. It was amazing. One of the most beautiful plays I've seen in a long time. I wanted the script so I could go back and see it again in my mind's eye and observe how Ms. Vogel crafted her incredible play.

Deeply Moving
It’s been a WHILE since I’ve been THIS affected by a text. I want everyone I know to read this play or watch it performed. Worth every penny and every minute and so, SO important.
