I was a bit hesitant to try this as there are a lot of other brands that have far greater reviews. However, as a thick and super straight-haired girlie, I had to find just the right flat iron for my hair. My past flat irons either don't work as well or the style doesn't stay for that long unless I sprayed some hair spray to keep it longer. As I was searching high and low through Amazon, I stumbled upon this one and I wouldn't lie, the aesthetic of the product first pulled me in. With that said, it seemed like a great product so I decided to try it on my hair.Let's just say that it was the best flat iron that I have owned by far. It takes about 2 minutes to heat up the iron but it works so well. I curled the edge of my hair inwards the night before an event and it stayed on the following day until night time. I was truly amazed with it so I decided to try curling my hair and the curls stayed on for about 3-4 hours before it loosened a little. The loose curls stayed on for almost 8-10 hours. This is all without using a hair spray! If you have shorter hair, the curls might even stay on a little longer. The only downside to this is that I keep accidentally pressing temperature settings.Overall the product is great and I love that they have included gloves and two hair clips with it.

This flat iron is beautiful first off and it’s very sleek and lightweight . I love that you can lock the the iron so it doesn’t open. I also love the 360 rotation of the cord so the wire doesn’t get all twisted. The temperature lock is great and the auto shut off. It flattens the hair nicely and well as gives it a nice curl. The plates are smooth also so no snagging of the hair. It also heats up pretty quickly. For the price of this iron I am very pleased. I’ve gotten others that were “better” in brand but quality was not good, this one is just great. Also the glove that came with it is one of the best I’ve seen. I love the covered tips on the fingers, it actually protects your fingers from getting burned and the clips are nice too. Great product all around.

This item works just like it's described!

The curl quality isn’t really good because I can’t manage to do a curl like I can but it doesn't hold. The auto shutoff works nicely, and the heating is nice to I use the highest one when’ve rim in a rush for school and the size is ok but I think that’s y my curl dosent come out

The Asani Hair product is great. You can achieve straight glossy results even if your hair is super long and thick. It was gentle and easy to use with no pulling or fear I was going to burn myself. The included clips and thermal gloves were useful tools. I especially like the lock control feature to keep the appliance on your selected temperature. I would highly recommend due to the high performance and reasonable price.

It can straighten but not great for people with thick hair and a lot of hair like me. If I do more than a small two inch piece of hair, it gets caught on a little piece that sticks out and pulls my hair. Also doesn't curl my hair great at all, even at 450 degrees. The location of the power button is terrible. You can lock it thankfully. Unfortunately still using my curler cause it's better.

My old straightener broke in my suitcase while on vacation. I purchased two new ones to try. I planned to keep one for travel and work, and one for home. The other brand seemed good for travel because it didn’t open with a hinge, it was more like a brush. It was terrible. Made my hair look completely flat and dirty. I returned it and purchased a second Asani 2-IN-1 straightener because I loved mine so much. There are no worries about it snapping apart like my old one because it locks shut. I didn’t realize that the temperature could lock in as well, which would have been my only complaint because I often hit the temperature button while using it. As soon as I figured that out I have no complaints at all. I’m able to use the lowest temperature setting and have seen no damage to my hair at all. My hair looks amazing and I get compliments (even from strangers) ALL the time, and I'm 67 years old.

This iron reminds me of the T3 iron for wayyyy less $. It does both …straightens hair and curls . I struggle with all hair tools. I lack zero skill when it comes to hair but this iron is simple to use. Works fast too with straightening as it has all different heat settings. I’m still practicing with curling my hair. It comes with clips too so that helps as you do the hair in two different layers.Anyway I’m definitely impressed with this iron and at this price point… no brainer
