good product
best glue to use with new or used furniture repair. Plenty of working time before it sets up. I warm mine up before using it in tight spots like fixing chairs where you need to inject the glue with a syringe. I love that you can wipe excess off after clamping with a wet cloth, and you can stain it without color change where it was glued.

Great for furnature or instrument repair.
i bought a guitar with a cracked top. I used this glue and it did a great job. The crack is sealed and holds tight under the tension of the strings.

The Gold Standard for Guitar Repairs
“This stuff is a must-have in the shop. Perfect for re-gluing braces, bridges, or doing vintage-style repairs where you want strong bonds and reversibility. It dries hard, transmits vibration beautifully, and cleans up easily with a little warm water. The fact that you can undo it with heat makes it invaluable for instrument work. If wood glue is your daily driver, this is the classic Cadillac. A true luthier’s best friend.” — Praying to the car gods

Great for guitar repair
Used this to fix the bridge on a acoustic guitar. Highly recommend. String hold and can wipe off excess with ease

Special type wood glue, for musical instruments
I am in the process of rebuilding an old mandolin. This is apparently the type of glue used for musical instruments. It is very tacky and works well. If you use your fingers to spread it,it is harder to get off than normal wood glue. It seems to hold very well, it has a longer drying time, so you have time for multiple clamping.

Great for Furniture and Cabinet Making
This s a great addition to Titebond's glue family. I use a number of their other products for general wood working and construction. I also have a heated Glue-Pot and have used real Hide glue. The real stuff is great.. but... smelly, and short lived (meaning you can't keep it long after you mix up a load - may be a week or so at best. It can also be a bit tricky to use. But it has great strength and has the nice property that parts can be parted with judicial use of heat. Whereas the Titebond product is so much more useful in use. Has a relatively long open time, and working time allowing more positioning time in glue-ups! That is just super for furniture making. It too can be released with heat. It too is smelly, but much less so unless you really tick it up your nose! Please don't do that... It is not waterproof so not for boat builders unless you have a suicidal/homicidal streak. Best part... does not stain the wood, and it works very well with stains. Thus for restorers and furniture makers its great. I just received another two bottles of this stuff, and will get through it by mid next year I guess with the projects on hand. I have been successfully using it since its launch a few years back. Hope this review encourages you to reach out and try it. I don't think you will regret it. One last thing, important, don't use for structural work. The glue has a lower retention strength compared to the popular yellow carpenters glue, and as noted can be released with heat and is not waterproof! Recommended for the right applications!

Great glue when you need a long open time or reversiblity (hot water plus a touch of vinegar will liquify it again). Be aware - liquid hide glue has a shelf life! Manufacturer states two years, in the right conditions you can get more. If you're unsure there are a few tests you can do: Put a dab of glue between your fingers then slowly open then - it should be spidery. Spread some glue on a piece of paper and let it dry, then try to bend it - it should crackle. The best test IMO though is to glue two pieces of wood together, let it cure overnight then try to break them apart. If the wood tears apart the glue is still good. If it just separates the glue isn't strong enough. Not worth ruining a project for a bottle of glue, buy new when in doubt and write the date you got it on the bottle.
