Perfect for making candles and has two options for low or high heat. I use the low as it heats up fast. I've used beeswax and soy wax separately and works well good with melting point as well as parrafin wax. Comes with tools such as a thermometer which is great! Because each wax has a different temperature pour. Easy to clean up, just wipe out with paper towel. Nice for beginners making candles as well as those who are very skilled. However, the pot is small so you may only be able to make 3 8oz jars at a time if you are looking for mass quantities of candle making. This wax heater is simple, but it works flawlessly. The key is to watch the wax melt, and as soon as it is all liquid pur into the candle containers. The kit comes with a good set of wicks and holders, as well as wooden sticks to hold the wicks in place while pouring liquid wax. I made a dozen candles over the last month for my wife, using different scents and in different fancy glass containers. She loves them. The price is very affordable and the nit is easy to keep clean.

This is a great little wax melter. I have two of them now, and I'm quite happy with them. They have two settings, I and II. Both heat fast, and I was surprised how fast wax melted even at the I setting. I found the second setting gets hotter than I need and easily exceeded the max temp you want when adding scents. However, the II setting made cleanup even easier than the already easy cleanup. I simply added water, put the lid on, and set it to II. Water easily boiled, helping remove and wax and scent residuals. Really, the only drawback would be the lack of a digital thermostat, but I can't expect that for this price. Plus, it came with a really nice thermometer for accurate temp checks. The pour spout is also drip free as the seller points out. I highly recommend this device for quick, easy melts. I holds just about 1.3 liters.

Surprisingly efficient: melted 525g of candle wax in about 5 min and started simmering/boiling. The premade wicks and supports to hold wicks in place were innovative and helpful. I even tried the green dye (not even dusty in the flake form), perfect for my herb infused candle. The non scratch spatula worked well. Pot cleanup was a snap.

It works well. It holds about a pound of wax, which will fill two 10 ounce candle jars with a tiny bit left over. It's perfect for beginners, but if you're pouring a lot of candles you'll need something bigger.

It melts the wax quickly and is super easy to clean. I do keep it sitting on top of a silicone pot holder while it's on just in case, but it cools down fast once unplugged and washed. My candles have turned out nice and smooth. I am very happy with this purchase.

Works as advertised

Works great and comes as expected in pictures. It heats the wax very fast on the second setting and even on the first. i am very pleased with how fast it warms and how much it can hold. It’s great for beginner candle making and the pouring spout really helps. I didn’t notice any weird smell. Accurate size and very compact. I’ve had it a couple months now and it’s been great. No problems so far.

I buy cheap pillar candles to melt for making fire starters. Works perfectly!!

As an an amateur candle maker, just repurposing spent candles and making own on a very small personal use scale, this is perfect. Was melting wax over boiling water but took forever & this worked literally within seconds...scarily fast and the included thermometer was useful as over heating wax would be easy with this. Super easy to use and very fast melting plus so easy to clean as non stick....quick splash of hot water & wipe round with kitchen roll. Lightweight and pours well and accurately, even for small pours like wax melt moulds, with no spillage or leaking. If you're a hobbyist candlemaker, this is a game changer compared with alternative and more fiddly ways to melt wax. Well worth the cost if only in time saved
