Academy 1: 350 - USS Indianapolis Ca-35

In contrast to a competitor Academy offers a model kit of " USS Indianapolis " without PE parts. For me that's no disadvantage. The lacking of PE parts is one of the reasons why I was buying this kit.The hull are two parts ( lower hull and upper hull ). Two deck parts ( several holes have to be oppened ). The anchor chain is separate. Two aircrafts. A monoplane and a biplane. Fit is good.Decals provide the American colours, the identification-no ( 4 x ) and markings for the monoplane.A good model kit of the last American Cruiser to be sunk in the second World War.

I had hours of enjoyment with this, it requires patience but it is worth it - well constructed model and for the most part the pieces fit together very well.

Arrive on time looks fab.At the moment it still has to be made.

Got the model early. Packaged superbly and all the part were there. The ship itself is a brilliant size. And is already in the process of being built.
