Well it works!
Well, i’m not sure how, but this really does seem to work. We have had it for well Over a month and the scale that builds up on the old shower (see second picture) is totally absent. We live in a very hard water area. It looks really cool too, wish there was a gold/brass coloured one as it would go better but small point. No leaking, great flow. All good! Bargain

Best Shower Upgrade I Didn’t Know I Needed!
I was skeptical at first, but the Magichome Filter Shower Head truly surprised me in the best way. For anyone struggling with hard water, low pressure, or just wanting a more luxurious shower experience, this is a game-changer. 🚿 Water Pressure & Spray Modes – 5/5 Even with my older plumbing, the pressure feels amazing. The 5 different spray modes are all actually useful—my favorite is the rainfall massage mode. Switching between modes is smooth and intuitive. It turns a basic shower into a mini spa experience. 💧 Filtration – 5/5 We live in a hard water area, and this filter really helps. I’ve noticed my skin feels less dry, and even my hair is softer after just a week. The beads and filter combo seem to genuinely make a difference. Plus, the fact that it comes with extra replaceable filters is a huge bonus—saves money in the long run. 🔧 Installation – 5/5 No tools needed! I had this installed in under 2 minutes—just screwed it onto the existing hose. Fits perfectly and universally, as described. 📦 Build Quality & Accessories – 4.5/5 Feels durable and well-built, not cheap plastic. The chrome finish looks sleek. It comes with extra accessories like replacement filter beads and even Teflon tape, which was a thoughtful touch.

Great value for money
Should have bought sooner, we live in a hard water area, east Stafford Burton, excellent for brewing beer, but the wife is always complaining after washing her hair that the water is to hard/harsh, after swapping over the old standard head to this she said wow amazing!!! Happy days, it looks good as well, looks well posh! Great value for money as well, many spray functions, the power is fantastic. Easy to clean not had any build up yet on the jets.

Seems to work but it's not perfect
We have very hard water in our house and I bought this as a test, to see if my skin and hair feel better after showering with softer water. I've used the shower head once, so I'm deliberately reviewing just my first impressions. I will probably add extra info at a later date. Things I don't like about this shower head: 1. The flow is not remotely as strong as that of my normal shower head (electric shower). Probably due to point 2 below. 2. Too many useless settings, none of which is satisfactory, but all of which reduce the flow by virtue of simply existing in the shower head. Make a shower head with max two settings and make sure one of them allows proper full flow throughout the entire area of the head. 3. Its shape is awkward. It's straight, while the handle should instead be gently curved and the head should sit on it at an angle. As it is, it's uncomfortable to use and, if you stick it on its wall holder, it forces the shower hose in a tight angle at the connection to the handle - that will shorten the hose's life. Things I like about this shower head: 1. It seems to work. After only one shower, I have softer hair and skin than before. 2. It's cheap. Very good as a test, to start with. Time will tell how long the filter will last. Speaking of filters, I heard that they cost as much as buying a new shower head (a.k.a. The Inkjet Printer Principle). If true, it may be easier to buy a new head altogether. 3. It looks good. The above is obviously my own experience and taste - if you're a fan of multi-setting shower heads you'll love it. If you're already used to weak flow in your existing shower, you'll have no complaints with this head. I'll keep using it and see how it goes.

installed a shower head and now I feel like I live in a spa… that occasionally judges my water usage
I bought the Magichome Shower Head (Upgraded Filter, 5 Modes, High Pressure) thinking it would just improve my shower. What I didn’t expect was to start having opinions about water pressure like it’s a personality trait. First impression: It looks like a normal shower head… and then you realise it has five modes, which is four more modes than my previous “sad drizzle from the wall” situation. Installation: Dangerously easy. No plumber. No crisis. No “why is this not fitting” spiral. Just screw on and suddenly you are living in 2026. Then came the first shower. Mode 1: gentle rain → I am relaxed, emotionally stable, considering skincare routines Mode 2: massage → I am now a new person who “prioritises wellbeing” Mode 3: high pressure → I am being lightly exfoliated and spiritually refreshed Mode 4: mist → I feel like I am in a dramatic music video Mode 5: chaos rinse → I do not know what this is but I respect it The filtration feature is also doing its thing: It claims to reduce chlorine and impurities, which is great because my skin has previously behaved like it was personally offended by tap water. Filtered shower heads like this are often marketed for hard water areas and sensitive skin, and while results vary, people do report improvements in dryness and irritation . What I do notice: * Hair feels less like straw * Skin feels less dramatic * Shower experience feels suspiciously “hotel-like” for my actual bathroom Pros: * Strong water pressure (no more sad drizzle showers) * Multiple modes = unnecessary but delightful daily experimentation * Filter system is especially useful if you’re dealing with hard or treated water * Easy installation (no engineering degree required) Cons: * You will spend the first week testing all modes like it’s a personality quiz * Guests will also test all modes and refuse to choose “normal” * You may start referring to your shower as “my spa” Final verdict: 10/10 upgrade. 10/10 unexpectedly emotional shower experience. 0/10 chance of going back to basic shower heads without feeling personally wronged by the water pressure.

Du plastique de mauvaise qualité
J’avais commandé auparavant le même produit mais d’un autre commerçant sûrement car celui-ci est de moins bonne qualité, fait d’un plastique extrêmement faible. Au niveau filtre ça marche bien par contre.
