2x 'Ultimate' Spirits Glasses

Being a long time Malt drinker with a modest collection of whisky glasses I never heard of Neat until recently while watching a YouTuber mentioned it during a tasting review. So I just had to order one from Amazon. I must confess that my nose and palate are not so refined to tell the finer differences, but the wider rim and closer to whisky surface of the NEAT does make nosing more intuitive and a fuller experience. The shape of the wide rim also spreads the whisky onto a wider surface of the upper lip, bring the lip also into tasting rather than only the mouth. Care must be exercised because the shape also makes the whisky easity to spill from the sides of the lip. I would certainly highly recommend this glass to any serious Malt drinker.

Removes alcohol burn from some stronger whiskies as advertised. Found it works very well for cask strength and cask finished whiskies. Laphroaig cask strength 10 was a lot more fruity from this versus glencairn.Little weird to drink from as you slurp from the edge. Easy for the spill some down yourself without practice. Means you take in more air when you drink though and you have your nose in the opening of the glass to which helps tasting.Pretty nice glass, recommend adding some to your collection to give a different experience to your whiskies.

I wanted glasses that not just showcase my chosen dram but help me warm it in my hands.The way you have to stick your nose in to the middle of the glass is interesting and I rarely get the alcohol burn in the smell. It has transformed the way I appreciate the heavier stuff like Port Charlotte.And yes, I'm sorry, but I like glasses that can go in the dishwasher.I promise, this is worth the money.

Perfect size for the hand and a great shape into the bargain. The wide lip directs the whiskeytowards the taste buds and the tapered bowl enhances the aromas. The Neat glass takes a little getting used to but it does what it's meant to do and the small learning curve is worth the effort. It's the glass I go to nearly all the time now. My big chunky whiskey glasses largely sit unused these days.

I bought these as a Christmas present for a rum drinking family member who was very pleased to receive them. They are an interesting shape, quite dainty and look neat as per their namesake. I can't attest to the claim about a better drinking experience with reduced burn and increased aroma but they were certainly appreciated and many drinks were enjoyed using them over the festive period.

They work extremely effectively at reducing the alcohol burn and enhancing the underlying aromas of the whisky, I don't drink from anything else now when I have a dram. They lose one star for one of the glasses having a slight defect (uneven bottom surface on the inside), but I can live with that.

Difficult to drink from without splling

Took a bit of getting used to, and one has to be careful when washing as they are delicate. Having said that, they make a good single malt that much more enjoyable to savour.
