The Mental Training Guide for Elite Athletes: How the Mental Master Method Helps Players, Parents, and Coaches Create a Championship Mindset

A must-read guide for all athletes whom want to develop a champion’s mind-set and work ethic.
Coach David Angeron has been a personal coach, mentor, and friend of mine for over 20 years. Because of his combined experience as a prior multi-sport collegiate athlete, his many years of experience as a multi-sport coach at the youth, amateur, and professional levels, and his experience as a professional and collegiate baseball scout and talent development specialist, he was able to develop a guide for success that all aspiring professionals can follow. David's passion for sports, particularly the game of baseball, is ABSOLUTELY infectious!!! I personally used Coach Angeron's mental toughness techniques to become the first individual in my family to graduate college and acquire a postgraduate professional degree. David's book clearly depicts and demonstrates the necessary mental toughness tools that can be utilized by any level of athlete or professional looking to take their game or career to the next level. As a chiropractic physician whom has treated many amateur and professional athletes, I would not hesitate in recommending this mental training guide to any aspiring athlete or professional of ANY career whom are serious about developing the mental toughness and work ethic NECESSARY to overcome all adversities on and off the field, especially injuries, which is essential to succeed in ANY profession.

Great read.
This book was a pleasant surprise in that it covered such a wide range of ways to prepare yourself for sports AND life. As everyone finds out sooner or later, “there is life after sports.” This book can be beneficial to almost anyone who is looking for a competitive edge; whether on the field, in the classroom, or on the job. It’s versatile in that it is useful for the “newbie” and the highly skilled person and everyone in between. It is also motivational on several levels to both male and female readers. As a former athlete, a parent to athletes, and a teacher/motivator, this book spoke to me on all three levels. Great read.

MUST-READ For All Former / Current Athletes! Former Athlete / College Coach Approval!
If you are a former / current athlete and you want to level up your game on the playing field or in the workforce - this book needs to be in your hands! After spending 6 seasons in Division 1 college basketball, I learned many of the skills and knowledge David shares in the book and that shows that by sitting down and consuming his work - you will be able to gain a wealth of knowledge to strengthen your mind and push your game to the next level. Can't put a price on that! Not only does this book contain useful knowledge but David did a great job providing actionable tips to put into your daily life right away. As well as providing the reader with a place to write down their thoughts after each chapter. David as the author has been involved in sports his whole life from the youth level all the way up to the professional level and knows how to articulate his experiences and thoughts into words for any reader to grasp and use in their own life. This is a book that has the power to benefit millions of athletes!

Absolutely Phenomenal, if you have an althlete at home and you want to contribute to their success
The background of the author comes out right off the bat in the presentation of the book and delivers in spades in the content. General Patton used to say that the battle is first won in the mind and this book translates that fact into the sports arena. The game must be won in the mind first and that is where most athletes fall short. This book comes with tons of worksheets with great advice for the athlete, the coach and the parent - I am tempted to say this is en encyclopedia for anyone who takes sports seriously. Win the mind and the body will follow as will success.
