Total Rain All-in-One

Works like it supposed too!
The media could not be loaded. There were no written directions in the box. We had to go online and download them. We also needed an adapter to go from a 4 x 3 rain gutter to a 3 inch pipe. And the T outlet supplied we used a rubber adapter to go to 3 inch. The T supplied was threaded could not find a threaded adapter. Sitting here with first rain seems to be working OK.

So close to being excellent
This company is so, so close to being 5-stars. They're an Australian-based business, so it's understandable that all their PVC fittings and parts don't conform to imperial measurements. As such, the listed 3-inch size is actually 90mm. Meaning you won't be able to attach many PVC fittings snugly (or at all). I would love if they offered a 90mm-to-3-inch adapter or a similar solution. My issue isn't even how it attaches at the top or bottom, since those don't need to be very snug. My problem is that the tee has a threaded male end, which cannot be attached any other way than with a flexible PVC pipe coupling - which are typically made with black rubber, which really ruins the otherwise very nice aesthetic. They sell a 90mm threaded female port, but as far as I can tell, it's not available in the states.EDIT: I want to clarify that they do include a bushing that can be used to attach a 3" SCH40 pipe to the output on the tee. So you CAN attach everything required. However, it is an internal bushing and it goes *inside* the threaded outlet (the threads are exposed and useless then). Meaning, the water has to rise above the internal pipe's lip before flowing out (this wouldn't happen if you could screw on an adapter directly to the threaded port on the tee). This is the issue I was hoping to solve by using a standard 3" tee fitting. However that would not be able to fit onto the top of the carrot, nor the bottom of the screened enclosure. So I hope I've better explained the issue I wish they would/could solve. Still a great product, and will continue to buy from.

Crucial diverter for rainwater collection.
Those who collect rainwater for personal use have probably learned the hard way that you need to allow the first bunch of water to roll off and not get collected in your reservoir. The first water rolls off your roof, then your gutter, and washes away the dirt and leaf material there. So it is best to have a system that diverts the first bit of water out into your yard rather than collecting it.This product is a brilliantly designed PVC diverter system that also helps to filter the particles that are washed off your roof and gutter and into your reservoir. The product is simple to assemble; just connect it to your rainwater system above the reservoir and other components, and let it do its thing. You will need a large tube of some kind to guide the first pass of water into your yard, or perhaps a small pond or even a culvert, but otherwise this is the only thing you need to get started with the diverting of your first rainwater. It is high quality and has stood up to a hot summer and rainy fall so far. It performs well and does its very simple job accurately. Appearance-wise it happens to match the other PVC tubing that I have in place so it looks great, but otherwise it's more about utility than looks. It fits perfectly into the rest of the system, the size of the openings is fairly standard. Overall, I would say this is essential to catching quality water with minimal debris and germs.

DO YOUR RESEARCH
This system appears pretty well made, and while I'm still in the process of setting it up, it doesn't appear too complicated. Keep in mind this does NOT come with adapters for rectangular down spouts, which is most common in the US, so measure yours first and order the adapters at the same time. Also, there are no written instructions included, however customer service was very helpful and emailed me a PDF of the instructions the same day.

Not the easiest install, requires adapters to fit gutters
Used this rain water diverter + filter system on my garage, directing water into an IBC tank. A few tips for others - this device is more European in measurements than American. I had a hard time finding fittings to adapt a standard American 2x3 gutter to the circular pipe. If you have a Menards, I had better luck there than Home Depot or Lowes. The connection from this diverter to your rain barrel of choice is also tricky. I ended up using a rubber adapter with metal clamps due to the odd size of the tubing. If your rain barrel is relatively tall, make sure you have enough room for this filter to sit above the barrel, to allow for the water to drain with gravity. The filter is long, and with a one-story home, there's not a lot of room between my gutter and the top of my rain barrel.

Simple installation, quality materials, effective first filter
Simple installation, quality materials, effective first filter:This rainwater filtration unit is a great first step when collecting rainwater to drink. The filter is very simple to install and can fit with most roof gutter systems (just check the sizing before purchasing), which do most of the water collection work for you. The filter is designed to remove very large contaminants like leaves and twigs, as well as the dirtier water that flow through the gutters at the onset of a rainstorm (since it's basically rinsing off a dirty outdoor roof) and works very well, mostly due to its simple design. There aren't too many complex parts in this unit which makes cleaning and maintenance much more straightforward than other more elaborate filters. With that being said, this unit is just the first step in the filtration process, and while it does do a great job removing the "low hanging fruit" of particulates and contaminates, make sure you add more robust filtration to what comes out of this, as there could still be very small and potentially harmful things in the water after it flows from this unit.Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend.

Works exactly as described.
Flushing leaves and debris from my rainwater collection system has improved the water quality in my barrels by keeping the oak leaves from my trees out of my barrels, the pH of the water has changed as a result. My garden is a lot happier with the change in water quality. As long as you have the required 3" spouting, installation is a breeze. Recommended.

No es de 3 pulgadas!
Parece de buena calidad pero…Dice el fabricante que es para tubos PVC de 3 pulgadas pero no caben los tubos PVC de 75 cm. Más bien necesita tubos de 3.5 pulgadas o 90 mm.
