Bloomingville Marble Cheese Charcuterie or Cutting Board, Green

It’s a really stunning piece of marble. I use it as a cutting board and also as a charcuterie board. It is heavy and you can only use soap and water to clean it. After I dry it I put a little olive oil on it to help it maintain is shine. The back also has strong rubber grips so it doesn’t move when your cutting on it. I also weighed it, its a tad under 8 pounds. It’s a little small but makes it easy to use in smaller spaces also I don’t need a giant cutting board, this is the perfect option. Healthier than plastic or wood cutting boards and will last a long time. The color is also beautiful and you can see the marbling. Great purchase. I would but this again and would make a great gift too. The price is also ideal.

I bought two of these, one has a honed finish and the other has a polished finish. This works out great for me, as I am using the honed one for mulling handmade watercolors, and the honed finish is just about perfect for that, but if you're buying this and expecting a certain finish, you could be disappointed.

This board was a darker green than expected and less highly polished that expected. I have bought several green marble boards and a marble tray with raised sides all from amazon. They all were highly polished and reflective of light. The shades of green varied but they all blend together nicely through out the kitchen. All are varying sizes to suit different spaces and need. This one was the perfect size that was needed and the pictures depicted a lighter and polished board that I thought would blend. It does not. It is so dark that I had to check if I ordered the wrong color. In lower and indirect light it appears black. In bright light it looks more of a deep blue black green and the finish is smooth but dull. I would call the finish matte. Not what I hoped for but buying online instead of in person you take your chances. I will replace it with something that better matches my other marble down the line and it will serve for now. All the other marble boards were exceptional from Amazon so one out of 6 that I wasn't thrilled with is a better average than most buying experiences. You can't luck out all the time. It is an OK board as a stand alone. I just wasn't impressed by it like I was with the others.I also bought a mortar and pestle, a salt cellar in green marble, and a standing green marble paper towel dispenser as functional kitchen accent pieces. They also are highly polished and reflective and much lighter in color than this marble board. (mortar and pestle not polished on the inside but this is standard to insure it grinds properly and it works most excellently). All these other marble pieces made me think that this type of finish is the standard but now I know it is not. Knowing this now I will make sure to ask questions before purchasing another green marble piece. I hope this helps other buyers.

Great product. Heavy and durable. No cut marks on board after using several times. I highly recommend this product.
