I’ve not used a TENs before and not sure if it will work for me in labour, so, I was a reasonably priced basic maternity TENs that I could try when the time comes. This little unit is compact, with all the functions you would expect. It comes with clear instructions and is really easy to set up and use. Have tested it today on my husband today and it got the thumbs up from him!

Good machine and easy to work. Was effective enough for a couple of hours of my early labour but became ineffective then...not sure if it was worth getting but works well for some people apparently

Tens machine is a great pain relief. A midwife recommended in the hospital I popped the tens machine on before pain got very bad. This way I wasn’t messing with the machine and was confident how it worked. Your body adapts well to the pain relief if you don’t wait to use it until unbearable pain too. I used the tens from early induced contractions until 10 minutes before baby was born. It’s a fantastic pain relief I would highly recommend.

I bought this unit for my doula birth bag so that clients and their partners can try it starting in early labor and if they like it, can be used safely in active labor. It is very easy to use, and has the “boost” button that most TENS units don’t have , made specifically for labor. I am thankful for the quick shipping to the US from UK because families in. The US need this tool too.

Disappointed to see this doesn’t arrive in a box, just a small plastic bag, which makes me wonder what happened to the original packaging and if this is actually a genuine brand new, unused product.

This TENs was my best friend during my labour. Used it for pretty much all of it until I got in the birth pool. It does have a timer on it but it doesn’t record them for you so if that’s your thing then you’ll need to use one of the many contraction apps or have a dedicated birth partner with a pad and paper. Otherwise, this thing was seriously powerful (I couldn’t go beyond the third setting without it actually being a bit much) and the boost mode was a dream, particularly for when the contractions got intense. It was also great to have different modes to mix it up a bit and be effective for longer. Loved it - did the job of all jobs - would recommend.
