W10174746 Primeco Replacement Control Board For Whirlpool Dryer WPW10174746, AP6016287, W10174746, 1546524, PS11749573, W10177388, W10182365, W10182365R

I bought this knowing that 2 of the 3 connections at the one end of the control board were plug-ins instead of tabs for the existing (3) female connectors to attach too. (see picture) Lucky for me when I removed the female connectors (from the existing plastic control board mounting box) they plugged right into the new boards plugs. I also had to cut out a section at the end of the plastic control box to allow the new board to fit. 2 days and still drying towels!

I should have read the reviews. Item listed indicates that it replaces part W10182365, but that is not true. The plug and board pattern does not match the board it is meant to replace. It will not fit into the white plastic housing unit.

I bought a used Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer set knowing the dryer was going to need this part. What I didn't expect was for it to cost so much. 😔 It does exactly what it's supposed to do but we had to cut out a piece of the original housing to make it fit. One had wires feeding in from the top, the other has wires coming from the side. Used a Dremel to cut down the housing so it would fit and it all worked out.

This was supposed to be a substitute for W10182365. The board looks similar but will not fit into the slot in the dryer
