Though you can’t actually see the litter tray in the photo - it’s inside the litter cabinet. It was the only one with high sides, a lip to help prevent urine splashing everywhere and the grill is great as it catches extra litter before he dives out of the cabinet. In fact it’s stopped him diving out as he can step onto that first. The locking mechanism is solid and has a rubber rim that helps stop it slide about. It’s easy to clean and adjust and despite being expensive, I don’t regret spending the extra as it is most definitely worth the effort price. It would look sleek and modern even when not in a cabinet. It must feel comfortable for my cat as he takes his sweet time once he’s in there!

The length and quality are good. My boy gets tangled regularly, so it’s safest when supervised and a water bowl is in reach, as well as plenty of shade and a place to get off of the floor. If you get wildlife or other animals in your garden, it’s best not to leave your cat unattended on-lead, as they are unable to flee if necessary. It’s easy to pull in and wind up, and it’s a fair price. My cat has got used to it quickly, though he often misjudged the length. For safety reasons, it should be used on a cat harness (not collar) and shouldn’t allow them to reach anything that they could hurt themselves on or dangle from (eg. a fence/gate/etc. that they could jump over but not reach the floor because of the lead length). Pretty lightweight too.
