Death to flies
I’ve used these disposable outdoor fly traps before and know from experience that they work very well once the weather warms up and flies become more active. Right now, however, temperatures are still fairly cold, so the traps aren’t attracting the same volume of flies that I’ve seen in warmer months. Because of the cooler weather, the bait scent also isn’t as strong as it normally is. There are definitely flies finding their way up the ramp and into the trap, just not as many as I would expect during peak fly season. Based on past experience, I’m confident this is weather-related rather than an issue with the product itself. Once temperatures rise and fly activity increases, these traps typically fill up quickly and do an excellent job reducing the fly population around the house.

The scent attracts the flies.
The foul smell, attracts and kills the flies. Great product! Plus you get refills

Works immediately!
Flies are gross. I was hesitant to try a fly trap bc people say it attracts more flies. Not true so far. It’s only been a couple of days but the flies are gone. We put one on each side of our pergola and within hours they were trapped and they were gone. We haven’t been attracting all the flies in the neighborhood like other reviews claim! Try them- it’s so nice to eat outside without flies on your food! 🤢

Works well....BUT....
They work amazingly well. Within days the first one trapped hundreds of flies....BUT, I went to empty it and refill and OMG!!!! The odor is absolutely horrid. I thought I was going to lose my lunch. I am not sure if it's the smell of the bait or the smell of thousands of rotting and purified flies. Afterwards I couldn't get rid of the smell. Undoubtedly, just touching it (I did NOT get any on me) the smell stuck to my skin. I've used soap multiple times, eventually resorted to using vinegar rubbed in well, then Dawn soap, followed by a hand soap. There's still a fait whiff but at least I'm not going to puke. Beware. Place for from where people are and use gloves and for pity's sake do NOT touch or get any on you.

This works so well. It was disgusting
Honestly I don't know what I was expecting but it definitely works. Like I mean it, it works. I live in a more rural area and there's Open water right next to my home so when it rains it creates a lot of flies and so we were having a really bad fly problem and I stuck this outside for a couple of days. And oh my goodness, when I tell you the next day when I came out half that bucket was full with nothing but flies all floating in the water. Now I do recommend that if you are squeamish and you do not want to dump out that container and rinse it out every time I would put a freezer bag or a grocery bag in there. Maybe about a gallon fill it up with the water and the the powder so that when you have to change it You can just take the bag out and toss it out. It smells horrendous. I did read that on the other reviews but I am emphasizing that it smells so bad when you open it, especially after being in the hot sun. I know a lot of people say that it didn't work but you have to put it somewhere where it gets some sun and it gets warm so it attracts the flies and lures them in. It definitely does work and I think I will be buying their products again when it comes to summertime but I will most likely be buying the tossable one because I was too grossed out by this one. If you don't change it out as soon as it gets full it will get maggots so you need to make sure that you're watching it . It will last about 30 days to 60 days. But honestly I had so much flies the first time. It lasted me maybe 2 weeks the second time. It definitely lasted the 30 days so it definitely is worth the money in my opinion. It weighs nothing when you get it. It's literally just a plastic container but when you get all the flies in it it might be maybe like 5 to 10 lb depending on how many flies you get. The size is small and compact. It's just a regular cylinder container so you can hang it from a tree or the side of your house or wherever you want, but I would recommend somewhere where you're not going to be going by very often solely because it stinks as well once the flies, get in it

Super easy set up, super effective!
I normally don’t write reviews. This is insane though. There are so many flies out and about right now, and it’s been very obnoxious. I put 3 of these out around my house, and within 3 hours each one has 40-80 flies in each of them. I will continue to buy refills for this product, and even a few more traps as well.

Buy this for your fly problem
I had a huge fly problem in my backyard. I received this product early in the morning and set out the traps once I received them. I am actually quite amazed on how well it worked. I went out in the afternoon to check on it and it has caught probably over 80% of the flies. 100% this is a great product and will definitely buy this again.

Good price, good bottle but bad ineffective bait
Working at an animal boarding facility...we can get ALOT of flies. I despise flies, to me very few bugs even come close to the level of annoyance flies accomplish. Mixed with the fact they literally reproduce in poop and dead stuff...disgusting. and that's just normal generic house flies, look up "new world screw worm fly" literally flesh eating flies, its the stuff of nightmares. If I had it my way, the US would commit its annual defense budget to the eradication of flies, but apparently that would be "bad for the planet" (seriously I've looked into it) however my sources tell me I can go hog wild in my own eradication and I won't even begin to affect the overall fly population...to which i say, challenge accepted. That brings me to the topic of my own personal holy war against flies and the tools of the trade. Total fly Decimation, Annihilation, Eradication. DAE for short. Project New DAE. I have used alot of products since the start of project new DAE. I have found these style fly traps to be the most efficient. No annoying sticky paper to deal with or sketchy chemicals. You just fill with water, drop in the bait and hang them. You rarely even have to replace them. See the flies fly in attracted to the bait and eventually die, well more flies fly in, breed, die and the result is this ever replicating form of bait goop of dead flies that for some strange reason attract more flies. You just have to occasionally add more liquid (water but ive thrown in soda and a few other drinks with added effect. While I have used this style of fly traps alot and absolutely recommend this style, this was my first time with this specific brand. Normally I use the lime green ones, the "Rescue!" brand but these were on sale, basically 2 for 1 compared to the rescue brand. So i decided to give them a shot. Disappointed Long story short...the bait doesn't work nearly as well. The price is great, you get 2 nice reusable trap bottle that both come with hanging chains and 4 pouches of bait. Great deal. Except the bait doesn't work. I ran comparison tests, I put both fly traps up switching between 2 areas. One had this brands bait the other had "Rescue!" Bait. Left them up for a week each, temperatures were similar. This brands bait barley attracts them, where "rescue!" Brings the swarm. My advice is buy these on sale, use the bait up maybe but then buy "rescue!" bait refils. Had to see but first picture is the "resuce!" Brand bait that has a ton of flies and the send is this brands bait with hardly any. I even tried different water levels for both. The "Rescue!" Brand bait is just better all around.
