Great lightweight sun protection hat at a reasonable price.

I loved the idea of the sides being able to be pinned up, like the old Anzac hats. The reality is the brim seems to be made of cardboard and it isn't shaped for that option (i.e. The cardboard is completely flat. If you bend it, it folds, rather than bends.) combine that with the press studs being too high on the brim and too low on the hat, it ends up stretching the hat and looking ridiculous. The material is light weight, and comfortable, and should fit a good range of heads. Being made of man-made fibres, this makes your head a bit sweaty. Better than sunburn, though I'd have been nice for more air to move through the hat. If you want a wide brim hat for out in the garden, watching sport etc, I like the lightweight nature of this hat. If you want to lift the sides, it's a big no from me. A shame really.

The hat is lightweight and made from polyester fabric which makes it quick drying, but will need to hand washed which doesn’t make the hat appealing to me but that probably just me being lazy.It has wide a brim and has good UV protection, the chin strap is a nice bonus and helps keep the hat on when it is windy. It has a absorbent sweatband which helps to keep you dry during the very hot days.It is a good product but a bit pricy for me.

The polyester hat is ok for standard wearing. The large flat area all around offers good protection from sun and light rain. The problem I have is when you try to get the sides up attached to the sides where the buttons are. The sides fold rigidly, and the whole hat goes out of shape and looks really silly on your head.So, ok as a normal sun hat, but bad if you wanted to use it with the sides buttoned up.

This is a really lightweight hat - useful for any outdoor activity where you want to keep the sun off your face / neck.Several colours - this was a beige colour.It's adjustable for different head sizes using the drawstring at the back which tightens the hat to fit your head.There's also an adjustable chin strap if you need to use that.There a mesh layer round the sides of the top for a bit of added ventilation.The sides can also be fixed up onto the hat using the two poppers on each side so it can be worn either way.Upsides - lightweight, easily adjustable, quick drying, sun protection for face & neck.It's a 👍 from me.

Although this is a well made hat with nice detailing, I am disappointed that it is pretty unstructured and a bit ‘floppy’. The wide brim offers good protections from the sun it is essential to use the chin strap to hold it on in even a slight breeze

This is good and light weight sun protection hat. It’s well made with adjustable straps to hold it on head in windy weather. Comfortable and perfect fit.
