I had trouble with the lock mechanism. I didn't lock, I searched the web looking for instructions did not find my same model. Finally I realized that the jiggler had to be totally pushed down and it did not jiggle but it is elevated when it needs to release pressure. That was a bit scary because I was accustom to it jiggling, I thought it was going to shoot off the top.

Pigeon 5L aluminium cooker
We have been using Pigeon brand since many years and are satisfied with the performance. The new 5L aluminium cooker is slightly lighter than the old model. It is functioning okay.
