After having an Ecowitt weather station for several years I decided to purchase the console, while it's nice to be able to see the data rather than using my tablet or phone it's far from perfect.It's not that easy to use due to lack of touch screen which it really needs, the touch buttons can be far too sensitive, and remembering which button selects the option you need is frustrating, once it's on your home wifi some of the extra weather service uploads can be configured on your tablet or phone, but all other options need to be set through the actual console. I'm uploading to Ecowitt, weather underground and met office WOW - this one is not fun to setup due to length of the station ID that needs to be set but thankfully it can be set-up through the Ecowitt app.The sd card slot is great for letting it back up the data. I've not yet checked the format of the data.It certainly doesn't feel worth the asking price, it feels cheap.The automatic display dimming doesn't seem to work, although the option to turn the screen off at night seems to work.The wall mount option is a no go, the positioning of the holes on the back to hang it on two screws won't work due to the screens overhang at the top. Seems someone at Ecowitt never really checked this design.

What can you buy in a good/ excellent weather station. Wifi and easy to set up. We would also like to purchase extra screens. What's best to buy? Thanks

For an LCD decide this is quite costly. I’d recommend the actual screen versions of this unit will be slightly more expensive. I’m not sure why it contains the ability to connect to Wi-Fi et cetera but that might be useful for some. I say this as other components are likely to already have will have the ability to connect to the Internet. to be honest, all I wanted was a second screen that I could view temperatures and other sensor data in another room to where the main screen is.

Too small for main screen ,I like them bigger but good as a extra .Just powered it up and it connected to my WS90 immediatly from range about 42 meters.Screen is clear and crispy ,easy to read and understand in eyeblink.It could also connect online and share info to weather services but in ,my case its just another screen to check data in kitchen ,no need to check phones Ecowitt ,SmartMixin or WU apps or to wall to living room to see main screen.Only thing botthers me is that in Amazon pictures it has touch screen and in reality I received one with physical buttons on side at back,this is seen in picture so its pretty much buyers misleading and definetly not acceptable .Thats why I drop of one star.It is good ,it works well and looks nice anyway.Over all good buy.

Non è chiaramente specificato, ma si tratta del modello WN1920AE (quindi con cavetto usb di tipo A).A differenza di quanto mostrato nella foto dell’inserzione i pulsanti si trovano sul retro, a parte questo fa il suo dovere!

Displays data from Ecowitt weather observation devices in a nice way and also provides a slot for a memory card.Screen is crowded by the huge amount of sensors it can communicate with. All this is nicely done, but Ecowitt could do a lot it to better:- Bigger screen option with more functions- OLED with crisp graphics and text- Touchscreen please, it is hard to navigate- Ability to be used as a security monitor (doorbel camera and/or security camera events)- Open the interface, allowing custom made screen layouts that others can use for free- Screensavers that can be used optionally- Proximity screen activation- Custom sound alarms for events- Crowdsource for more ideas
