If you've ever used these little elastic rubber bands, you know what a huge pain in the butt they are to get out of your hair! I use them in my daughter's hair and even in my own hair (depending on what I'm doing). The elastic rubber bands hold so well, but getting them out of your hair can turn into a huge tangled (tortured) mess.SO, having this little tool to simply cut the rubber band out of your hand is SO handy! For the most part, these elastic rubber bands are one-time-use (after using them once, they stretch out and become quite brittle) so cutting them is the perfect solution to removing them from your hair!These "cutters" work perfectly - they're larger than other's I've seen, so they fit comfortably in my hand & make removing the little elastic rubber bands pain-free and so easy!The only reason I docked this particular product one star is because the price tag on this set is quite high. You can buy the elastic rubber bands at the dollar store - so I feel like while yes, this tool & set is fantastic, it is overpriced.

I got this set because my daughter loves having her hair done in weird ways with lots of rubber bands all over. Her pre-school teacher has even been doing it for her sometimes and it can be a pain to remove all the hair bands (both figuratively and literally). While most of the time the cutter seems to just slide the rubber band off the hair, it still makes for easy removal. It does also work to cut them if they are stubborn and stuck and helps prevent pulling or accidental cutting of hair.The hair bands are a larger diameter than her old baby ones so it is good to have some larger ones. So far they are pretty durable but I have noticed a few stuck to each other but they separate easily.

I usually use these type of hair ties tightly and end up with a tangled mess of broken and stuck hair. For the most part, I’m able to remove them but with much energy and time wasted. So, in comes this bad boy.This absolutely works as it should. I’m able to cut it with almost no time and energy lost but I do still have to be careful as my hair still likes to tangle. So, these work but I have to figure a way of removing it without getting it tangled.While I did get this product free via Vine, I think just 1 would have sufficed. So, as far as value, I don’t think it’s worth the price tag.

I know this says for little kids but I use rubber bands in my hair too sometimes and they get caught. I don't like the rubber bands it came with as they are really thick and not as stretchy but they will work for when I'm in a pinch. The tool cut the bands right out without ripping my hair out.

These plastic clear bands have a nice stretch. They come with three 'cutters' you can use to easily remove them from your hair instead of trying to get them out and tangling your hair. I would have rated them five stars except they don't seem like a very good value for 503 little pieces of plastic. I would have expected to pay about $8 or 10. I would rate them five stars if they were a better value because the quality is decent.

The cutters are such a big help not just for the hair ties but also for other things around the house. The hairties are as expected they hold the hair for the day without breaking.

this is absolutely a game changer. I have a mixed sign so he has textured here and I love doing different styles with them, but using these plastic rubber bands on his hair causes so much breakage and is all around annoying to get out. This tool that comes with the rubber bands is so amazing and makes it so easy to just cut the rubber band out without having to go through all that hassle of ripping hair. I definitely recommend.

The thin clear elastic bands are cheap but functional, and can stretch from 0.75-inch to a 1.5-inch diameter. The three cutter tools (my reason for ordering this set) work great and are an easy-to-hold design with a finger loop. Each cutter comes with a rubber guard over the slightly-pointy tip so that they couldn't poke a hole through the storage bag; it should be removed from the tip before use.
