these are so easy to take on the go! as a busy mom of three and an ICU nurse they are amazing! There’s no taste it dissolves easily in my stomach. I don’t have any gastrointestinal issues after taking them. My skin and my hair health has improved. They are very effective and you don’t need to mix them. My hair has grown a lot and it’s much stronger. My skin and nail health is amazing as well. LOOK at that regrowth from postpartum hairloss!!

I’m very happy with my protein capsules

6 pills twice a day is a bit much but my skin glows and looks more hydrated and looks less dull. No this isn’t a miracle in a bottle but I do believe consistency is key and to be honest I do feel my hair even softer not that I had ruff hair but I have thin hair that gets split ends every easily (my hair breaks without me using excessive heat) and my split ends are not as bad as before. My nails grow dramatically now within a week says my nail tech and it’s true. I do feel confident going out without make up because my skin looks healthier. If you use these pills drink more water than you usually do to avoid a headache. Do take with food. I just don’t like taking 12 pills a day.

I am trying to boost my skin and hair by using vital protein products. Most of what I am seeing is that you need 10-20 g per day to see results. I was using the powder which is great, but it is also difficult to fit 4 tablespoons into one day. I got these capsules to supplement the powder when I don’t use the full 4 tablespoons. The serving size for the capsules is 6 and only 3.3 g, but it helps get me to at least 10 g per day when combined with 1-2 tablespoons of powder. These capsules are big! So just something to be mindful of if you struggle with large pills. When I do higher and consistent doses of collegan peptides I do notice my skin, hair, and nails grow faster and are healthier. I do stay away from the products that contain Biotin as Biotin at high doses can cause acne, and for me it does in a matter of 3-5 days. Do some research and make sure you are not over dosing yourself as this can have adverse effects. Overall, I am happy with the capsules! It is an easier way to take them instead of relying only on the powder mix.

I love this Proteins Collagen Peptides product but I am not crazy about the capsules. I bought this for travel but did not realize that I would have to take 12 pills daily, no bueno. And the pills are large. This is the reason for the 3 stars on this specific item. The reason I love this product is that it has helped my hair and nail growth. Like Biotin in a bottle. And I don't have to take my biotin pills anymore! Additionally, the taste is minimal to me. I make a tall glass of water with the Collagen powder form and add my Creatine as well and mix it well. I take this with food to avoid stomach issues. There is little to no taste to me. I have been taking this for about 4 months now with great results.

Vital Proteins Collagen capsules are one supplement I will NEVER go without! I'm in my mid 50s, and due to some health-related and drug-drug related interactions, I developed very thin skin on my forearms and shins. I knew my skin was thin because it would bruise far easier than it should have, and it would tear open if I hit it against a smoothe surface!! However, when an urgent care practitioner was patching me up after I fileted my shin wide open from falling on a frozen gopher mound, (yes, you read that right), he said, "You have skin like a 90-year-old!" I was so embarrassed. I knew I had to find something asap to help me grow healthy tissue. When I saw this product on the shelf, I figured it was worth a try since nothing else seemed to work. Within a few weeks I noticed I wasn't bruising as bad as I had been. Soon after, my skin didn't bust wide open when I ran it into a doorknob or kitchen counter. Within 6 to 8 weeks, my skin was practically normal again!! I was elated! Then I ran out and couldn't find any of the capsules at any store I went into, so I didn't take them for a couple months. I started noticing some very light bruising coming back. I quickly got on the computer and ordered some more capsules immediately! I'm happy to report NO MORE BRUISING or open wounds!! I 100% believe in this product and recommend it to anyone having these issues with their skin.

I love Vital Proteins. I started taking the the capsules prior to purchasing the powder form. I love both. I originally started taking Vital Proteins because I have been malnourished for so many years so I lost a lot of collagen and my skin just wasn't supple or healthy. I also had dark puffy, purple rings around my eyes. I noticed a difference in how I felt the first day of using it because my body wasn't used to the nutrients it was missing. Then I'd say a month into using the product is when I noticed that my skin was more supple, my eyes aren't puffy and purple anymore. I overall feel so much better. I have several spinal injuries, reverse curvature of the cervical spine that has spread down into my thoracic spine, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia so I don't have much energy or quality of life. As far as Vital Proteins supplements helping me with pain they don't but I have noticed I'm not as sore as I used to get after expending alot of energy. It don't doubt that it could possibly help others with joint pain that don't have the amount of health issues and pain as me. I love it so much I got a subscription for it so I never run out. I was misled by the packaging into thinking that each capsule had 3.3g of peptides, but that is in 6 capsules. In order to get the same dose as the powder version (10g per scoop) you would have to have about 14 tablets. In addition, the capsules are made of gelatin , and are quite large. I found it hard to swallow them with a drink and resorted to using yoghurt. I'd recommend trying the powder instead - it is tasteless and dissolves in a cup of coffee easily.
