The roster of photographers and food writers who have left an indelible essence of talent throughout the years includes: Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, Anton Corbijn, Annie Lebovitz, Jeffrey Steingarten, Tamar Adler, Oliver Strand, and others. It is a good resource book (perhaps a coffee table book), with high quality pictures and selected editorial pages to read about food experience. The food photos are good, but not surprisingly inspiring. I bought the book for my collection of future design reference and potential idea inspiration, after reading the book advertisement. So from that perspective, I give it a 4 star.

This book was such a disappointment. I grew up reading Vogue and thought that this book would feature some of the amazing food articles I read during the 80's and early 90's.

Great "show-off" piece. Awesome photography.

Assumed there were recipes as well.
