Very Sturdy This is just what we needed to finish off our stairway. It is finished nice and is great to hang onto. Very safe.

This handrail was perfect for the location and style we needed. It arrived quickly with Amazon large box delivery because of its length. It was lightweight enough for easy move. It comes with four brackets and hardware that need studs for easy installation. For other installation one would need to purchase hardware. The finish is very good and is primed and coated with a smooth grip. It was very stale and not warped. It was lower priced than going to local hardware store that mainly had unfinished rails.

Hardware included. Longer lengths come in two pieces which is not really clear in description. Seller was good to work with and gave us partial credit for that reason. Handrail itself was good quality.

This is a sold wood handrail. It is relatively easy to install using simple tools, but it's suggested that you use two people to install on a wall in order to make things easy by holding one end while working on the other. So far ,in use, this is sturdy, looks good and feels solid and reassuring.

Installed the railing, stained it, and amazingly the mounts have held it in place acceptably for something made in China.

Sturdy, solid, basic hand rails. Finished and look good. The only couple of issues relate to the unusable screw anchors and the brackets for supporting the rails. The anchors are poorly designed and just will not work. I had to get some regular ones from the local big box store, as did just about all other reviewers. The brackets are not adjustable, so if you are trying to set your rails on stairways, it is really awkward trying to get the angle and height correct. Most north American brackets allow for movement as you install them, so angles can be adjusted - not these. Be prepared for some gnashing of teeth and uttering of bad words as you try to get the angles correct. Find someone to help you install, as I regretted trying to do this by myself. You have to have someone support the rail on the angle you need, while you screw in the bracket to the wall. Generally, the reverse is true for most common brackets. Oh, and by the way, don’t bother looking for the drill bit that their literature states/shows will be included in each pack. They aren’t there. All in all, they look good, but really could use some better design. I would not buy them again.

This railing arrived in perfect condition--it was carefully packed prior to shipment. Wood quality was good, color was the same as it appeared on the Amazon website. The finish was satin smooth. Instructions for installation were very clear. It is important to note, however, that the brackets included with this railing have 3 holes for installation that are placed in a triangle configuration on the portion of the plate that will be attached to the wall. We needed to screw the brackets into the wall studs based on the type of wall we had. Unfortunately, our wall studs are only 1.25" wide and two of the holes on the bracket are 1 5/8" apart. Therefore, we had to purchase a different style of bracket from our local store. This was a not a deal breaker, but just something to keep in mind. Overall we are very satisified with this product.

Helpful when installed, to aid me getting up and down stairs after surgery. Nice looking, substantial and would suit any location.

If you are in Ontario and purchasing this, and you need to return it. Please UNDERSTAND!!! It will COST you 264.00 to return WOW!!! How are they allowed to sell on Amazon?? They say it is for elderly and children yet it is SO SQUARE difficult to hold onto let alone with a disability or little hands
