Great option for a small senior dog with chicken allergies
I transitioned my 10 year old Chihuahua to a fully raw diet for health and behavioral reasons (as directed by our vet) and he LOVES this food. This is a wonderful option for smaller dogs who are not able to eat chicken. It does tend to be a more expensive food compared to some of the other air-dried options but this one has been more popular with my dog than the others. There is no smell to it (woo hoo!), he loves the taste, his health overall has gotten better, and he is able to chew these with no problem (they are small and fairly soft). Would recommend!

My Dog’s Favorite - Versatile, Crunchy, and High Quality
I’m subscribed to this product because my dog absolutely loves it. The taste is clearly a hit - he gets excited whether I serve it as a treat, mix it with kibble, use it as a meal topper for human-grade food, or feed it as a full meal. The nib size is the perfect size, bigger than traditional kibble but manageable, and the texture is crunchy but not too hard - not as hard as kibble, which is great for older dogs or smaller breeds. The food quality is excellent, and I feel good knowing it supports his health with clean, raw ingredients. Though it’s marketed for dogs, I’ve seen many mention that cats love it too. The versatility, high-quality ingredients, and consistent freshness make this a staple in our home.

Healthy and easy snack for dog training rewards
Our Australian shepherd loves these. A little stinky, as all dog treats are. Healthy alternative snack. Easy to use portions to train dogs with. Lots of tiny rewards instead of those bigger ones you have to tear apart for training exercises.

food topper, treat toy filler, reward snack, or main meal
In short: the dogs like it, but they prefer the soft nibs over these dense nibs. We don't use these as a main meal, nor at every meal, but as part of the dinner menu. My dogs enjoy a post dinner treat toy. Sometimes I add "treats", sometimes it is their regular kibble mixed with treats. But that doesnt go over real well, haha.. So usually it is just an assortment of healthy treats. Amount is taken into consideration so as not to give them too much. Not long ago I had the opportunity to try Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw Duck Entree & Mixer Dog Food Soft Nibs (free isnt free) which I used as a kibble topper. Then it occurred to me that this would make for a perfect treat toy filler as they really seemed to like it as a "treat" yet it would provide them all the nutrition. I was curious to try other flavors, so I ordered this beef. I now see that the other ones are a soft nub (like a compressed powder that can easily be pinched into powder if sprinkling over food) and these are a more compact lightly crunchy nib. Not hard, but they are hard in comparison to the other. My dogs prefer the soft nibs, but will also eat this. Perhaps they just prefer the duck flavor. Not sure if this will be a repurchase for us, but I know the other kind will be. Good product worth trying. I don't rate on price. You will have to decide if this suits your budget or not.

Great training tool
Gizmo loves them as high value treats for training or the vet. Cheaper online than in the stores.

My woofer enjoys these as treats. Perfect size. We like the Vital Essentials brand for not putting a lot of extra unnecessary ingredients in their products.
