Can this make flat white?

Sorry I can't tell you that. My machine only worked for 6 weeks. I returned it and was sent a replacement, which only worked for 6 weeks. I then got a refund and bought a different machine. So even if it did make a flat white I would not recommend it.

Can I use ground coffee in EQ 500

I believe so. The machine has a receptacle to use ground coffee but we haven't used it. Very happy with the machine though.

Where are the 9 programs? Only 6 on the disply

Does the Eq 500 tell you when the bean hopper needs refilling?

You can hear when the beans are getting low as the pitch on the grind changes.
