I just received this today and am extremely impressed so far. I had to remove a single link which was an easy enough process. I should say the instructions for doing so we're fairly vaugue, and what directions were available were in small type with tiny, fuzzy pictures that were only minimally helpful. It was enough, though, to give me a general sense for how the included tool was intended to work, and I improvised from there.The band itself looks great on my stainless steel, space black 42mm Apple Watch. It installed easily and is very secure. I was worried that the shades of black might clash, but they seem to go together extremely well.I really appreciate the width of the band. For my taste, many bands (including most Apple originals) make the size of the 42mm watch stand out too much so as to look cheesy. The size of this band is beautifully proportional to the watch and lends it a more elegant appearance.This band feels great, too. It feels reassuringly substantial on my wrist, without being "heavy." It moves well with my wrist without digging or poking into my skin. I have felt a few pulls at my arm hair, but not too bad, no worse than I suppose one should expect with a link bracelet. I'll be sure to update if this becomes a more noticeable issue.Overall, I'm very pleased with this band. What a value!**********************UPDATE 8/26/2018**********************After nearly two years of all day/every day wear, my band finally broke--one of the watch connectors gave out on me. The color on the metal had rubbed off a bit too, but nothing really noticeable unless I looked really hard for it. I stand by my original review above: This is a great band at a great value. In fact, I came back to this page to order another! I'm pleasantly surprised to see my review has been helpful to so many.

I’ve bought three of these. The first one lasted over a year before some of the black started wear off of the silver stainless steel underneath. Still, a good value. So I bought two more on April 17, 2019. Received Apr 19, 2019. One of them fell apart this morning, July 22, 2019... Return window closed on May 19, 2019. Product support window closed on Jul 18, 2019. So this piece of junk fell apart. So I own a broken watch band with a planned obsolescence of 90 days. I put this on the Apple Watch once after buying a protective cover nd the piece that attached to the watch simply fell apart after about 1 1/2 months of use. Fortunately the watch protector saved the watch.

Wasn't sure which band to buy for my 42mm Apple Watch in space grey. Took a chance on this one and I'm glad I did. If you are comfortable going on YouTube and watching a quick video, you can remove links yourself (I did it in about 5 min) and now I have a perfectly fitting metal Watch band that perfectly matches my watch. No branding on the clasp, weight is perfect, no pinched arm hairs, safety removal button is a solid click. I think this one will last.If you are looking for this type of band, this is the one to get.

I really liked the band, the black color, weight (3.45 oz), installation was simple and quick ( i had to remove a couple of links), so everything was fine, except i forgot to check on those tiny screws in the band adapter/connector. Those Connectors get inserted into the watch’s side slots. I highly recommend to make sure those four screws are tight.So in a month of wearing the band, one of the screws got loose, eventually unscrewed and i lost it, the band fell apart.I emailed to their customer service, they replied immediately apologizing for this unfortunate event. I bought this to have a classy looking alternative to a sports band. Price seemed good and it had good reviews, I should’ve read the negative reviews as well. If you want to know what it feels like, imagine a gas station watch that you at some point in your life have held in your hand which is for sale for $5.99... and you think to yourself this watch doesn’t feel like it’s worth 50 cents! Yeah that’s what the band feels like. Not to mention the paint will most likely come off within a week. Also it makes so much noise... Sounds like you’re walking around with loose change. Dropped it off at Kohls for a refund.
