Should have done this sooner
Followed the directions. Came out better than I expected. So happy with the results. Covered the old nasty stained sink, looks brand new. I plan on doing the same to the bathtub. Biggest advice is move quickly during the application but don’t rush inbetween coats. Also get as many fans in the room and open windows if you can. And wear a mask. The fumes are horrible.

Not perfect, but pretty dang close
This Tub & Tile Touch Up Paint Kit was exactly what I needed to refresh my bathroom and make worn areas look new again. The satin white finish blends beautifully with my existing shower, and it was easy to apply with great coverage. I used it to cover ann old tan color - the results were impressive. The paint dried to a smooth, clean finish and feels durable enough to handle the moisture and humidity of a bathroom. This is a great, affordable way to give your bathroom a quick facelift without the cost or hassle of replacing fixtures. I’m very happy with how it turned out and would definitely recommend it for small repairs and refresh projects!

Like a New Tub Without the Replacement Headache!
I recently used the Rust‑Oleum 385279 Tub & Tile Refinishing Kit in Satin White—and wow, what a transformation! With a one‑day application process and only 3 days of cure time before use, it's the quickest way I've found to refresh old tubs and tiles without renovating the whole bathroom Key Highlights: Porcelain‑like finish that really mimics the look and feel of new tile—self‑leveling formula hides brush strokes beautifully Durable, moisture‑resistant epoxy acrylic finish that stands up to daily shower use—rated for high‑humidity areas Covers up to ~110 sq ft (enough for a standard tub with two coats), making it cost‑effective Many users rave about its smooth, shiny results: “Amazing color and finish…highly recommend it” Worth Planning Ahead For: Strong fumes during application; please ventilate well and wear proper safety gear Prep is key—tiles need to be scrubbed, lightly scuffed, and cleaned thoroughly before painting Some users report peeling over time if prep is insufficient, especially around drains, so take your time Final Take: If you're looking for a budget-friendly, quick fix to renew a tub or tile surface and you're meticulous with prep work, this kit delivers impressive results. Just be patient with surface prep and curing, and you'll get a fresh, shiny finish that rejuvenates your bathroom without the plumbing mess. Highly recommended for DIYers ready to put in the work!

Great Refinish
Looks great but the smell is STRONG!! Be careful to use thin coats- because it will run! I loved the finished look and it's holding up great- but seriously be prepared for the strong chemical smell.

Couldn’t get the smell out of my nose
well, this product worked super well for transforming my tub from that outdated 70’s yellow to this clean, modern off gray but it was a wild ride to get to the finished product. -It melted the roller brushes. I ordered 6 rollers, I used them all. & yes, the brushes disintegrated right into the paint. I had to go through (quickly because it dries so fast) and pick out all the freaking pieces. (Didn’t get them all though and you can feel them when you rub against them.) -Had to buy 2 boxes because you need 2 coats & it takes a an entire box to apply 1 coat! -PLEASE trust all of the other people that have warned you to wear a mask while applying this because this is the most horrid smelling paint ever. I couldn’t get the smell out of my nose for three days. 😂 -It doesn’t take much to chip. We didn’t use our shower for 3 weeks (directions suggest only 3 days) to allow the paint to harden thoroughly but too hard of a scrub or a scratch of the shower head and it does chip. Thankfully, not too noticeable. But they sell touch up pens. Will be looking into that soon. -It took 1.5 hours to apply one coat - had the bathroom window open for ventilation and a gas mask on and still came out of the bathroom super light headed, couldn’t think straight lol. Took a few hours to start feeling normal again but definitely sent my s/o in to apply the 2nd coat because I couldn’t. Best of luck to you 😂🤣

Nice look on my kitchen sink
This is my second time using this product on my kitchen sink, which gets heavy daily use and is frequently exposed to boiling water and scorching-hot pans. First time was 6 years ago, I didn't follow instructions well because I didn't expect it to be good. Now the sink looks ugly and I have no alternative. So this time I carefully followed all the instructions, as I figured out these steps are necessary. So far the painted result looks great, and feels solid. I expect the paint will get damaged in a year or so. But I have learned how to quickly paint a fresh coat, so I plan to do the maintenance. I use a small spoon to take out what is needed and save the rest for future use.

Peeling at 4 months
I thought at first this was a great product as looked so much better but 4 months later it is peeling and was a waste of time and money. i did everything correctly sanding and cleaning and put on three thin coats. It smells horrible for weeks and it didn't even last 4 months.

Overall Great
Pretty good product! At first I don’t think I mixed it well enough and it was kinda runny but the next 2 coats went on thicker. Hopefully holds up well. The first pic is the difference after one coat. Second pic is after 3 full coats.
