I was told by a Sanctuary to buy this for the very sick feral kitten I found and they couldn't take. They dewormed him, cleaned his very infected with thick puss on his eyes and gave me prescription eye drops to put in both eyes twice a day. They gave me 2 bottles of this. I went home and ordered a 12 pack. He ate so much that i had to order a 2nd 12 pack. The kitten LOVED this and he was healthy enough 2 weeks later that he was able to be surrendered to the Humane Society. This was his complete nutrition and he gained significant weight with it...which was a great thing!I'm going to purchase more for my own 3 cats as a seldom treat as they LOVE it as well.

I actually feed it to kitties and cats especially if you have to give them medications you can crumble the pill into the baby food and they will eat it right away. It's a great treat for cats.

I bought this for supplemental cat forced-feeding (mixed with a little water, pro/prebiotics, and liquid cat vitamins) with syringes. Works well- doesn't contain anything not cat-safe. She never objected to the flavor or smell. Just chicken, water, and a little corn starch.

I use this product as a transition food for kittens who cannot eat hard food yet but need extra protein. It serves its purpose, even though it's overpriced.

I like that Gerber still offers products like jar baby food that is near content. I actually use it to feed my sickly kitten and this is the only food he can digest without throwing up. Im sure that this is a new use for Gerber baby food but this has been a life saver for my kitty.
