Works great, easy to install
The title says it all, it’s a great addition to my car, and mounts easily. The base plate was installed a few months ago and it hasn’t moved since. The phone holder does its job and fits my phone even with a case. I can drive across any terrain and have peace of mind knowing my phone won’t fall out of the holder onto the floor.

Perfect fit for a Nissan Rogue SV
The phone holder has been working exceptionally well since I purchased it. During the last hurricane, we experienced a power outage that lasted over a week, and this device really came in handy when we had to sleep in our car. It securely held my phone on its side without any issues, and I haven't experienced any wear or tear. The attachment has never fallen off, making it the most durable phone holder I have owned. The quality is excellent and perfect for the price. The only drawback is its placement; it covers the hazard light button. To activate the hazard lights, I need to raise the phone or remove part of the holder.

Fits my Toyota Highlander
This is my 5th phone holder (3rd for my present vehicle). The first holder was one that had a suction cup that attached to the windshield. It worked fine for a couple of months, then committed suicide by letting go of the windshield and breaking into pieces. The second holder was one that mounted on top of the dash. It worked ok, but when I decided to sell my car, I pulled the holder off the dash and it took the dash upholstery with it. It cost me $350 to repair the dash, so I will never buy another holder that attaches to the top of the dash. #3 and #4 were bought for my Highlander, and both were vent mounted units that simply didn't fit my SUV. #5 (this one) appears to be the charm. It clips over the hazard blinker control (while still having access to the blinker). It seems that it would accommodate almost any size phone. It also has a clip adapter that can be used on a vent, but I don't use that. I suggest that when you shop, you google your specific vehicle make and model, which will increase the chances of finding a holder that actually fits your vehicle. If there had been any installation instructions that arrived with the phone, I would've given it 5 stars. It took me a while to figure it out.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I had an older mount that I accidentally broke and I needed a new one. I found this one after some searching and saw that it had a special mount compatible with my Jeep Renegade's dash vents, and it seemed like just what I needed. Got the new mount and I was able to assemble it with very little issues. The connector was a little difficult to get into the part that mounts to the Renegade vents, but I was able to gently hammer it in with a rubber mallet and then it snapped right into place on my Renegade. I took my old phone and attached it to the holder and shook it all over the place to see if I could get it to dislodge and it held on tight despite making motions you likely wouldn't even have while off-road. It's a simple design, not overly complicated to use, you expand the holder, and when you place your phone against the plate it clamps down on the side. I use a fairly hefty phone case because I'm clumsy, and it has no problems holding it with the case as well. The version that I bought does not have adhesive/suction, so I didn't rate that. I would probably rate this a 9/10 on a larger rating scale, only thing that was that the mount was slightly difficult to put together as mentioned I had to use a rubber mallet to gently put it into place, although it may have just been a tight fit with the particular one I got as I'm sure manufacturing isn't always perfect.

2024 Honda Civic Sport Touring HATCHBACK - perfect/secure fit on the honeycomb dashboard!
Just to inform that this phone holder securely holds my Motorola phone on the dash of my Civic. I tried multiple styles, but this one works perfectly (my phone has a case and is wide/thick as a result....this holder works perfectly for a thick phone). Included is a special adapter that clips (top and bottom) to the silver rails of the honeycomb dash...I have my holder installed to the immediate left of the emergency flashers button. The special adapter has little notches on the top/bottom, which you gently...GENTLY...depress the adapter top/bottom to get the notches behind the silver rails. As soon as you release the adapter the notches connect to the dash - removal is simply reversing the steps. The included adapter is key to proper/secure fit for a Honda honeycomb dashboard. Once installed where you want, it's easily adjusts with a tilt capability, and simple open/close mechanism. A short power cable can be used to charge your phone while mounted (the usb plug is about 12" below my preferred mounting location next to the hazard lights). Personal review (uncompensated) of a great product to fit a specific use case (the honeycomb dash of the new 2024 Civics).

Not quite "tight"...VERY Difficult to access the "flashers" button!
This make the use of the flashers button EXTREMELY difficult & INCONVENIENT. It gives me the need to REMOVE it (slide it out of the 'clip-on') while on MOST of my drives, since it is MORE of a NUSSIANCE than a HELP and have the "holder" either sitting in the way of the console, (underneath HVAC), have the NEED to put it either in the armrest center console or glove box so it is out of the way until IF it is needed which takes up VALUABLE space in those areas! (I ONLY use it for longer drives when it is accessible for my music apps). I keep my phone in a clip-on holster and THAT is easier than using THIS especially since I can make/receive calls from the vehicle and have my texts read to me while driving, pretty much rendering this thing USELESS 99% of the time for me. I only bought it for the 1% of the time I would like to have my phone out of my holster & want to look at my phone's screen. This is NOT as snug as it SHOULD be as the phone wobbles when using the touch screen. The piece that goes into the slot IS pushed down ALL THE WAY, BUT that seems as it SHOULD 'snap-in' to make it more secure. It DOES hinder the flashers button, (as mentioned) and it IS inconvenient. I DON'T have much hopes of the "close-shut" mechanism due to it feeling "not a secure hold" that (in my experience with it) seems to just 'close' and not really 'hold-tight' the phone. Even with the ball joint knob TIGHT (not too tight to strip or break it) , the whole thing STILL wobbles as it is NOT a "snug/tight/SECURE" hold which makes for difficult phone use & inadvertently pressing everything else that you are NOT purposely pressing. I have a vid & pics posted for your reference of it installed on my CX-5. IF I would have something to positively say is that it does not hinder view of the infotainment screen, and has minimal affect on the air flow from the vents. Until it gets aggravating enough OR I find a better holder, I will keep the 'clipped-on' part to the dash and just slide the holder in when/if needed..BUT AM LOOKING to REPLACE this with a better option. THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW FOR A "PAID FOR BY ME" AND NOT A "VINE FREE" ITEM AS I PAY FOR EVERYTHING I GET, AND THAT ALSO MAKES MY REVIEWS TRUE & HONEST!!

Doesn’t take up vent space
Love how this fits between the vents, it does have the piece to switch it to place on vent but it holds my phone well and the quality seems pretty good.

Stable holder
After having the "clip into a vent fin" phone holder that constantly fell off I decided to try this for my 2018 CRV. The base snapped on very nicely, and grips my phone well. Once installed, the phone is rock solid, works great. The one complaint I have is that the bottom of the holder will slightly block the radio screen, and the charging cord will definitely dangle in front of the screen. However, this is a minor complaint, and I really do like this holder for its stability.
