Since the majority of questions are about size.... why is there not a size guide up yet?

I would say its about a 42-44inch UK chest size

Is the hood detachable?

Mine is not! I just fold the hood into the back of my coat. The coat is robust, keeps me dry when out walking in the dales and is easy to carry when I don't need it. I chose a bright colour so it is great when I am out on my bike and helps me to be more visible.

What are the sleeves like? It's the sleeves of all my jackets that end up wetter on the inside than on the outside because of me sweating.

The sleeves get wetter because of bad breathability. I am sweating also a lot. This jacket is one of the best I had in breathability. Although this does not mean it doesn't get wet after some intense exercise.
