Country Life Chelated Magnesium 250 mg, 180 Tablets

I highly recommend trying Magnesium, it's money well spent! I originally started taking this magnesium because I read that it could help with muscular pain for people with fibromyalgia or rheumatoid arthritis. I also read that it could help with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anxiety, regulating bowel movements, and sleep quality. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical, but I figured it was worth a shot. I chose this particular Magnesium supplement because I did not want to have to drink the Magnesium (many brands require you to mix it in water, but I prefer a pill version). I was pleased to find that these vitamins are reasonably small and they leave 0 after taste! Most vitamins tend to have an odd flavor, in my opinion, but I can swallow this with a sip of water and not taste it at all! These are great for high blood pressure (in my experience, but definitely check with your doctor if you have any concerns). I found that while taking this my blood pressure was the best controlled it's been in years, I actually ended up being able to get off of my blood pressure medicine thanks to Magnesium. I'm not sure yet if it has helped my cholesterol, as I have not had blood work since switching to this, but I'm hoping to see an improvement there as well. I did not see any improvement for pain related to fibromyalgia, but depending on your type of pain it might help. I have noticed that Epsom salt baths often helped my muscular pain so I thought this might also help improve it, but it didn't seem to. I did find that this supplement helped a lot with anxiety. I had been having a general tense feeling quite frequently as well as anxiety that would flare up for various reasons. This was a new issue for me and quite concerning, so I was pleased that the Magnesium seemed to lessen it. For the first few days I found myself feeling similar to being on a muscle relaxer (like all my muscles were relaxed and I felt an overall sense of calm, similar to how I feel after a relaxing hot bath). I also found myself to be quite drowsy the first few days, so I would highly recommend trying it over a weekend or some time when you won't be too busy. After a few days, the vitamins stopped having as much of a noticeable relaxing effect, but I noticed that I am much more calm in general than I felt before taking these. I will warn that some people do experience diarrhea when taking Magnesium, but these seemed to be a low enough dose not to upset my stomach. I highly recommend trying this Magnesium if you suffer from high blood pressure or anxiety, although it can also help with several other health conditions, but be careful as you may feel drowsy the first few days that you take it.

This product was recommended to me by my doctor to control night time leg cramps. To my surprise, it worked by essentially eliminating the problem.

It works! I have leg/foot cramps nightly without fail. Some nights worse than others of course, but lately getting worse each night. Last night I took the first tablet with a bottle of Ensure... no cramps at all, for the first time in at least weeks. No side effects whatsoever (so far).

Just FYI, this product now comes in a plastic bottle rather than glass.

I've tried several and like these best. One taken daily and easy to swallow.
