These wicks burn fine. I’m not ordering wicks from Amazon anymore because I tested a batch with a different company on here and the wicks didn’t stay lit….you can try these but I’m creating for a business I don’t have the time or the money to see if I’ll get a good batch or not.

They don't work at all! Burn out immediately. Tried multiple different ways, no success. Worthless.

The media could not be loaded.  This was my first time making candles. As was mentioned in previous reviews I soaked the wicks in olive oil. I experimented using double wicks, soaked in olive oil but the flame was too big. This video shows a single wick that was soaked. It stays lit and you get the crackle sound.

I had never used wooden wicks prior to purchasing these and I must say that I am hooked. I love them. They seem to burn evenly. I will be buying more.

I got these for their low price however They are thin like an index card and require two together to have enough substance for burning a candle. The other issue is they burn extra dirty. the glass jar was complete black after a few minutes of burning and you can see a lot of soot coming from the flame. I wouldnt burn this indoors unless you want black stains on your ceilings. overall, I would not buy this again.

I tried just one of these in clean soy wax. It barely burned and kept going out. It tried putting 2 back to back in one clip and then they burned great!

I returned these as there was a bizarre odor when I opened the bag. Chemical smell. What the heck would I be releasing into the air when burning, much less the odor!?

I made candles for the 1st time and I used these as my wicks. I went ahead and doubled them as instructed for longer burning time. They were so easy to insert in the wick holders. If it was a little tight, I just inserted sideways or with a butter knife just pried it open a bit. Since they are heavier than regular wicks, they did not move around when pouring in the wax which was great. I had used regular wicks for a couple other candles since it was my first time and they were so messy, that's why I liked these better. They have no odor and they are thick enough that they do not break easily when inserting into the holder. I used 3 inch high candle holders so these were long. You don't even need scissors to trim the wicks, you just bend and snap off the length you need -EASY! I will most definitely use these wicks for my candle making.
