Amazing for fixing loose seams and falling hems!
My daughter goes to an all girls private school that requires them to wear skirts/kilts. In August, right before the beginning of this school year, she told me that the hem was falling out of the both of them. I really didn’t have the extra money to buy her new ones or pay someone so I looked for another solution and found this. It works so well!!! It did take me awhile to do both skirts since I wanted it to be perfect but I just set up in front of the tv. I used pieces of about 2 inches with about two inches between each piece, and had to hold the iron on for about 20 seconds. I had it set on high as the material was very thick. The hem looks great! Very sharp and even and you’d never know it was reinforced with this. We wash on cold about once a week or so and hang to dry. The hem is holding just as well as it was the first day after MANY washes. She’s halfway through her junior year and the kilts still look brand new and they were bought before she started her freshmen year. I also have a son that’s 11 and a few of his hoodie front pockets were starting to come off at the seams. I was able to fix those as well in about 15 minutes. This was so easy to use, an amazing value that saved me hundreds of dollars! I will have this on hand at all times now. I really do recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Strong Hold and Super Easy to Use.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Strong Hold and Super Easy to Use HeatnBond UltraHold Iron-On Adhesive works exactly as advertised and delivers a very strong, permanent bond. I used it for hemming and craft projects, and it held securely after ironing with no shifting or peeling. The 7/8-inch width is perfect for most hems, and the 10-yard roll lasts a long time, making it great for multiple projects. It’s easy to apply, activates quickly with heat, and saves a lot of time compared to sewing. Once bonded, the fabric stays firmly in place even after wear. This is a reliable, no-sew solution that’s ideal for clothing repairs, alterations, and DIY crafts. If you want a durable iron-on adhesive that really holds, this is definitely a must have and worth the money 👕✨

Works great
This is my first time using a two sided iron on hemming tape. It does a great job and is so much faster and easier than sewing by hand. I ironed the hem of my pants flat and then slipped in a piece of this tape on one side and then ironed it. I let it cool and turned the pants leg over and did the same thing on the other side. I used two pieces on each pant leg rather than trying to use one continuous piece all the way around. It was easier that way. I bought this specifically to hem a pair of pants that were too long. The one thing I didn't like was how difficult it was to remove the paper backing. I used a razor blade to cut the paper backing and was very careful to cut just the paper and not the actual glue strip. That made removing the paper backing a little easier. The hem in my pants is tight and looks great. I don't know how well it will hold up after the pants are washed. I'll have to wait and see. I also plan on using this double sided tape to attach name tag patches to my work shirts. If this is like the adhesive used on iron on patches for jeans I'm confident that hem is there to stay. I rated this product 4 out of 5 stars because the paper backing is so difficult to peel off.

good alternative for sewing patches
My industrial job requires pants that don't have any holes for safety, but a lot of my old jeans I would like to wear have the 'distressed knee' look. I tried hand sewing patches but I'm not a seamstress and the stitching would rip out, it always looked really messy, and I do not have a sewing machine. It isn't worth it to go to the seamstress for jeans that are going to get eaten up at work. -- Enter some cotton pajamas my kid outgrew too fast for fabric and this bond tape. Cut the fabric, iron it on on the inside along the seams with the tape, and voila-comfortable old jeans with no actual holes. Bonus, it feels like I am wearing pajama pants at the knees-haha. So far so good on the hold, it holds up much better than the stitching patches did. It looks a little weird if you look close at the top of the patch along the thigh part -where the jeans stretch just a little but the tape doesn't- but again, looks aren't what I was going for here.

Washed right off
I used this to repair a torn seam on a coat. It held great. I wash the coat at the end of the season before I stored it. then washed it again once I brought it back out. The seam came off entirely. I don't know if it's because I had used a laundry sanitizer, or it's because the adhesive wore out, but I wasn't excited about this.

great buy
This product is fantastic—easily one of the most reliable iron-on adhesives I’ve used. The HeatnBond UltraHold delivers exactly what it promises: a strong, durable bond that holds up through wear and multiple washes. Application is simple and fast. I used it for a few no-sew projects, including hemming pants and attaching patches, and it worked flawlessly every time. The adhesive sticks quickly with a standard household iron, and once bonded, it stays put without any peeling or lifting. The roll is generous in length and the 7/8-inch width is perfect for both small crafts and basic fabric fixes. What sets it apart is the strength—this isn’t one of those adhesives that comes loose after a couple of washes. It really ultra holds. Highly recommend this for anyone who needs a quick, permanent fabric bonding solution without pulling out the sewing machine.
