This has been my color for the last several years. I really like this brand because it does not dry out and damage my hair. The conditioner that you get with it is really soft and leaves your hair shiny. The color stays until it is time for the next application. It's gorgeous! The color is absolutely amazing too. My hair is brown with beautiful redish highlights all over. Believe it or not, my husband did my hair and it looks beautiful. It's not dry either, it's very shiny, smooth and soft. My hair length is about shoulder length and we used 1 bottle but he also used a brush as well to brush it all over the roots. Especially where I was grey. It's a beautiful color. I highly recommend this product and color. I will continue with this color from now on. I love the mahogany color with the brown. It turned out better than going to the hairdresser and spending over $100. He did the same job, and it turned out amazing!

I have been using this hair dye for a year now, coloring my hair every month and sometimes even every 3 weeks. It covers gray hair perfectly and looks very natural. Even with frequent use, I haven't noticed my hair becoming dry or damaged at all. It is a great hair dye that does its job excellently!

I bought the 4SM dark brown soft mahogany. I bought 2 boxes because my hair is down to my bra strap . My hair was a lighter dark brown with subtle highlights . I previously used Garnier 4.15 and 4.35 which was on the lighter side of dark brown. The closer to 5 you get , the lighter the color comes out so a 4 is darker than what I was using. I had a feeling 4 would be dark and I was right. It’s very dark! But that’s what I was expecting. My previous brand faded and didn’t last more than 2 weeks and was bad with gray coverage. Hoping this covers grays better and doesn’t fade. If you’re not looking for a super dark brown this is not for you. As you can see from my photos I don’t see much of a mahogany either. It’s just a very warm dark dark brown. It has a slight red glow in the sun. I gave it 4 stars because I didn’t get that dark mahagony look I was aiming for. I think I will stick to this color though . Makes green eyes really pop.

I've used this dye monthly for many years. I stocked up my supply and recently realized they've changed the formula. The old formula made my hair heavenly soft, but after using the new formula, my hair is dry and unruly. I can barely comb through it and I have to use so much conditioner and leave in detangler that my hair requires more frequent washing, which fades the color faster. I'm researching other hair color brands now because I can't continue to use this L'Oreal product. It's a shame, as the old formula was fantastic and the color was amazing for me.

I love the way this turned out. Mostly, I love That it easily washed off the skin. Normally my face is dyed for days after doing it myself. I would already purchased more for next month!

I love this colour (L'Oreal CB415) Just a heads up, if you're looking for this colour in stores, the packaging model has changed to the one I've posted. However, the product number is still the same, and colour is still the same as I've tested both. Just to point out and for reference, I have a few greys and my natural root colour is a light dirty blonde - This is the result as seen in photo.
