Yes, you can use an Xacto knife, but please note that our Panel molding has a width of 1.6 inches and 2.4 inches, so you'll need to ensure that the width of your Xacto knife blade is sufficient. Additionally, we also recommend using a miter shear for better results.

Can you remove it without damage to surface?

In response to your question about whether our product can be removed without damaging the surface, we recommend conducting a simple test. You can try attaching a piece of 3M tape to the wall and leaving it in place for a period of time before removing it. If there is no damage to the wall, then it should be safe to use our product too.

And we do not recommend using our product on surfaces such as wallpaper or painted walls, as it may cause damage when removed.

Additionally, for optimal results, we recommend using a hair dryer to heat the adhesive before removing the product. This will make it easier to remove and reduce the risk of damage to the surface.
