These are amazing. Lovely soft brushes that can hold a LOT of water. They are the perfect length when assembled and very compact when packed away in its little leather pouch. The perfect combination of size and type. They have a little hole in the cap to allow the brushes to dry when packed away. Well worth the money. The bristles clean nicely and hold their shape.

Excellent for watercolour work brush holds water very well. Materials used are okay screw thread, broke on the large brush very disappointing. has a small travel pack, it’s adequate.

I have recently got into water colour painting and decided that I needed brushes that were better quality than what I was using. These brushes flow so nicely on my paper and I am seeing cleaner results. I love how they looks and the storage case that comes with it. My painting has room for improvement, but these brushes won't be holding me back. great value for money. I am very happy.

Given the price, I was skeptical, but the gamble paid off. I got this set on sale for less than £16 - but even the usual price is exceptional value for money. I half expected them to be synthetic, with a dodgy fit and finish, and horribly balanced. I was shocked - because they appear and feel to be genuine sable. If they are in fact synthetic, the manufacturer must have some market-leading technology - because they behave exactly like kolinsky sable. They're brilliant to paint with - they hold a lot of water, are butter soft and still retain a point. They also look great, the wooden handle has a lovely grain and is nicely varnished. To list a negative, it would be that fit and finish isn't 100% - though it's pretty close. There are some minor flaws in the metal and one of the brushes has a ferrule that's not perfectly in line with the handle. But these still get five stars because they don't impact on the use, they still look great - and given the price, I'm amazed they're as good as they are. I can't believe these are being sold for around £20. The only explanation is that the animal which kolinsky sable comes from is native to parts of China - so it's readily available and thus quite cheap to get hold of. I have a no.4 Da Vinci kolinsky sable travel brush that cost as much as this entire set. To replace this set with Da Vinci sable would cost about £160. Could I say those brushes are £140 better? Honestly? No. I also can't believe some reviewers are complaining about the carry case. It doesn't look cheap at all. I suspect it's 'genuine leather' - in that it's lesser grade leather. But it's well put together and it looks really smart. The three brushes for this price are barely believable - the case is just a bonus.

Well pleased with this set of brushes, not high end Sable,but a very respectable Synthetic,holds water and paint well,and can produce a variety of different line widths, nicely packaged as well,very pleased,and they are conveniently,and easily put together,then packed away, Delightful set, for the price paid.😁👌

I think all the statements about these brushes being the finest quality are overstated. I have several high quality kolinsky sable brushes and some just sable brushes and these travel brushes are the lowest quality of the lot. Having said that, they are perfectly adequate for my work when out sketching urban and countryside views without the worry about losing an expensive brush down a drain or in the undergrowth! So don’t expect the finest brushes but for the price, solid build, and reasonable brush quality, they do the job.

Holds the paint very well and are excellent for travel

Da die Kappe verschraubt wird, sitzt sie fest und dir Pinsel lassen sich gut halten. Das die Pinsel Haare verlieren, konnte ich bis jetzt noch feststellen.

Son unos pinceles finos, pero les falta el acabado finos. Aunque se pinta bien y no suelta pelo, el abanico que forma el pincel no es uniforme.

Very happy with the quality of the brushes and their metallic casing. The 4 diff brushes give a wholesome range to paint, on the move. Wish the leather bag had a sling or velcro to attache to the paint colours box, to make a single unit.

Son geniales. Soy principiante, y utilicé las primeras semanas unos pinceles con deposito que venian con las acuarelas en pastilla que utilizo. Como eran malísimos pensé en buscar otro, vi que el precio era demasiado para lo que podia gastar en este momento y estos han resultado costar 3 unidades lo que costaría un solo pincel de la “marca buena” y son GENIALES. Suaves, recogen mucha agua, no cae pelo. Compacto y de alta calidad, con estuche por que son portatiles, volví a comprar otros para mi pareja y una amiga que pintaban y se sorprendieron al utilizarlos.
