Take a look at any lantern on the market today and you will just see a reboot of the lanterns people have been using for millennia. Then came Luminoodle (yes, we are serious about the name): the world’s first completely waterproof, flexible, ultra-bright ambient lighting solution that can be hung, strung, hooked, stuck to or wrapped around basically anything. Use the Luminoodle at home! The number of ways to use the Luminoodle is only limited by your imagination. With built-in magnets, it can easily be used as patio lighting and is a must for garage projects. Just open up the hood of your car and magnet the Luminoodle straight to your car. If your TV has a USB port(most new TVs do), just connect the Luminoodle to it and now you have a backlit TV or monitor that turns on/off with the screen. Use the Luminoodle on your next adventure! The Luminoodle serves all your camping light needs. Used in either lantern mode or noodle mode, you get the perfect tent light or camping lantern to illuminate your campsite. No need for a headlamp when you can hang, stick or string 180 lumens of light anywhere. This waterproof outdoor LED lighting setup ensures you are always well lit! The Luminoodle is not your generic lantern, it gives you the flexibility of having both a lantern and a string light in one product.

The Light Fantastic
Absolutely fantastic!I bought this light for camping purposes firstly, but I've found it to be useful in so many situations.180 lumen of very practical light. The Luminoodle can be attached virtually anywhere to give a warm, useful lightlight. The bag doubles as a lantern and works very well to give a gentle, gentle but workable light source.I've used the light camping, in the tent, across the central pole of the tent to light up the living space. It's also been used as a lantern in the middle of the table, late at night, to give a gentle hue to watch the stars. The magnets in the flexible strip are useful to wrap the noodle around branches, tent poles and anything else at hand.I use mine with a 25milli amp per hour battery pack and it will last for an entire camp without needing charge. All in all an excellent addition to any camping kit, which y will find practical in a ridiculous number of situations.

Very handy and certainly bright enough
Having used this over the past few weekends I can say it's a useful camp gadget. In my personal tent it was bright enough to read by. Last weekend it was used in a fairly large dining shelter above the cooking area and provided plenty of light to prepare supper for a bunch of hungry Scots - far brighter than the battery-powered lanterns we were using for the rest of the area. I used this with a smallish (about 5mAH) power brick and over the course of an evening it used one "dot" of power (although since this was early June it was only on for a about 4 hours). If you have a portable solar charging panel, then you can top this back up during the day.Would be a bit unwieldy to use in strip form in a small tent, but then you can just roll it up and put it in its bag to use as a lantern. In a larger tent you can use the provider retainers to attach it to use to illuminate a decent area.

Light up your life
A great innovative product. Throws out lots of light. You can also roll it up and put it into its bag which creates a lovely ambient light which you can hang up - great for camping.Update; the power bank stopped working after about 9 months-the company Everythingusb were fantastic in how they dealt with the replacement. Hassle free and replaced within a few days-excellent customer service - very impressed - thank you!

Perfect camping light.
I really like this thing, it's excellent for camping or for keeping in the car. It's basically just a bright LED rope light that you can hook on things, wrap around things, or just put in a bag and use as a lantern. It runs off any USB power source, and as it's LED uses very little power. The light is bright without being blinding, and is a friendly colour - it's not a harsh blue light like some LEDsI'm really pleased with it. Build quality is great, and it feels like it will take some abuse without a problem, and it will last a good long time.

Expensive but good.
Really nice lights and extremely well made but price tag way to high even for materials used I feel. Having used many out door, survival and camping items in the past I can absolutely say these are made from superior materials but the amount they cost is far too high. The lights are sufficient and work well, not too blinding. An onnand off switch would have been useful.

Daddy's fairy lights
When I opened the pack, I was a little disappointed in the length. However, the light intensity for the small space of a camper and if strategically placed in the right area outside is really quite good. My ego when demonstrating the lights to my wife was knocked when she called them Daddy's fairy lights! Charging instructions are ok but the system is quite intuitive anyway and the carry bag is a great way to keep it all together with the rest of the camping paraphernalia.

superb pieces of camping kit
This version without the battery (The included battery charger lights the room while charging, no thanks) works great with my standard usb battery pack, I bought this while waiting for the newer colour/rf/intensity changing version on kickstarter/now indiegogo, My kids love it and i like the fact it lights up the area without the potentially overbright/blinding issue you can get when accidentally looking at a single bulb lamp/lantern .

Item was faulty
Bought as a gift and just gone to try and use it for the first time and it's not working, tried to find a way to get it replaced and says that the window is closed. There is a loose connection because by wiggling/pressing at a certain point the lights did turn on. Disappointed as I thought this would be tough and durable but couldn't even survive postage
