I had an Orbit digital that lasted a lot of years (30) and the digital display started to act up intermittently. So, looked at the Big Box Stores (wow - Big Prices!) I settled on this unit and it installed seamlessly in a half hour. Easy to set up & program too! Only time will tell me if it’s up to par with the longevity of my prior unit.

My old sprinkler controller went haywire and wouldn’t stop running. I liked what I saw of this one. It is simpler to use than the older style. I had it installed about a month ago and it is working just fine. You may be able to install it yourself but I didn’t feel capable.

It worked for about 10 months and a few functions stopped, i.e. the manual button, the pre-programmed settings. Worst of all the ORBIT manufacturer agent just does not want to replace or refund ( warranty is said for 6 years with proof of purchase ) They want you to repeat steps by steps to fix it even though the unit no longer works. It took me 1/2 hour with them on the phone for nothing. I hope no one has to go through what I did.
