I’d never tried this product before, but I’ve heard it mentioned a lot in the curly hair community. Tried it for the first time last night and wow, it is a game changer!! It’s VERY light and slippery, gives a lot of glide and doesn’t feel heavy on the hair, even though I used a bunch. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my curls more defined. I have 2C/3A hair, so the roots usually are usually flat don’t curl, but this product made the roots extremely curly!! I’m sensitive to strong smells and this also smelled very nice and light, pleasant and fragrant. I also felt like I had lots more volume than I usually do! I recently had some damage and from bleach and box dyes, and this is the most defined it’s ever looked since before I messed with it. I do wish it encouraged curl clumps more; I tried to style to get my curls to clump together but this seemed to more separate and define rather than clump and define. Still love it!! It has a small amount of hold to it, too—nothing crazy like a strong hold gel, but I still got a bit of a cast. It is definitely going to be a staple for wash days now!

This product works so well I have bought two bottles so far. it doesn't leave your hair stiff but you have a fluffy lightweight style. It's a little more expensive than the other mouse out there, but it lasts long and you don't have to use much to get the fluffy style you desire. Its not greasy. Really good on twist outs for black hair styles.

Wow this is so good for my 3b curls! Smooths everything out. No frizz. Lightweight so I still have volume. And next day hair still looks good. I get this all with just this one product - no need to layer creams and gels. It also smells amazing, light and fresh, almost citrusy. So happy I found this!

Stronger smell than I like. More perfume smelling than natural. Their new scents like fig are less strong but were unavailable for purchase. Does a good job holding curl. I have four stars for the smell and because I’ve tried mixing with a cream and a foam mouse and still doesn’t cast quite how’d I’d like. Was hoping it could be the one item I use but too much frizz alone.

I have 2b-2c hair and replaced my old gel and mousse with this product. This holds my curls SO well with no crunchiness and doesn't require a lot of product. I pair it with my hair oils and no-frizz products and am always happy with how it turns out. Because the product is for all hair types including tight coils, I recommend using less than you would expect at first and work your way up, because using too much makes my hair really oily. This company is also black-owned and doesn't test on animals! 11/10 would recommend to anyone to try. Amazing price for the product you get too.

The gel is better for my 4B hair. If you on the fence choose the gel instead. If you have the gel and want to try this, don’t . The gel is superior.

I loved this product. My twist outs holds good and looks good with out the crunch. It's not harsh on my hair very nice feel to my hair.My hair is gray closer to white and it looks white after I use it.I get many compliments about my twist outs. It holds well for days .

I have 4b hair, with a patch of 4c-you absolutely do not need another product! It's a leave in that keeps my hair soft for a week! I wish it came in a slightly larger bottle, and the pump is not the best, but the product is so good, so moisturizing, and so defining I can't possibly take a star away. I was having problems with dry hair due to layering products and sulfate free shampoo with butters and oils in them. Shoulder length hair and my routine is cut in half because styling is so easy! I use it for twists and to plait my hair if I'm just doing a bun for the week. Shampoo, deep condition and this product is all I need!
