I have to note that I don't have kinky hair. My hair is straight and I like using blow dryers on the cool setting. This hair dryer wasn't for me unfortunately. I didn't feel like it was powerful enough on the cool setting and my hair took a bit to dry. My arm was tired by the time it dried up my hair because it was also really heavy for me.I was also hoping that it would be quiet. This blow dryer wasn't very quiet and that was disappointing because I have kids at home and when I typically take my showers after they've gone to sleep.I do like the attachments that came with the dryer and I have to give it that it's very gentle on my hair. My hair is already damaged and preventing further damage is important to me. I'll stick with it because it doesn't dry out my hair like other dryers. It's probably worth a try for people with a different hair type than me.

Admittedly I have some mobility issues so this may not apply to the average person, but this hair dryer is extremely heavy to hold for any length of time. The attachments are okay and they lock/release easily enough. Performance wise, I don’t like the way this operates. The switches are annoying and the wind force is slight compared to the amount of noise it makes.

Honestly, after using this hair dryer for just 4 days I miss my old one (with the air intake on the back, tubular one) and going to switch back.This one has the air intake on the side and a vertical drum turbine which doesn't seem to be as effective as normal ones and is really loud.I measure effectiveness by how fast can a dryer dry my hair (very time-conscious in the morning, every minute counts) and this one is worse than my another lightweight 1300W dryer.You will not find this model in any professional hair salon, that's for sure.Bottom line: stay away.

I have never used a hair dryer like this before, but I was betting that this would work wonderfully for styling my kids hair. And it totally does! I find that the shape and design of this hair dryer makes it easier when doing someone else’s hair than a traditional hair dryer:For my 11 year old son that has super thick hair the comb attachment and the bristle brush attachment work fantastic! His hair is long enough that it needs to be styled, so previously I was setting his hair to style it in the morning before school anyways. So this hair dryer with the unique design and attachments makes it much easier to do his hair. And for my 8 year old daughter who has the most beautiful curly hair the diffuser is just wonderful and easy to use.In summary I honestly really love this hairdryer! And that’s coming from someone that owns all of the DYson hair stylers and the shark styler and hair dryer. Yet this under $40 styler is easier to use on my kids than those!

This is almost just like the one I had in the early 2000s! I was using a Hot Tools brand blow dryer but it was heavy and I didn’t care too much for the nozzle. I prefer the design of this one.I use the comb attachment and it gets all the way down to the root. The tips aren’t pointy so it doesn’t scratch up my scalp like other attachments I’ve tried. Makes my hair soft and smooth and ready for the flat iron.You have two features to control the speed and temp which I love. I use the lowest setting to prevent my hair from getting too dry.It also has a brush attachment for volume and curl and diffuser attachment. It has something for everyone in my home and that eliminates having so many tools.
