24 Nights: Orchestral

Eric Clapton the greatest guitarist ever in my book - Clapton with the Orchestra sounds magical - favorites include "Bell Bottom Blues", "Edge of Darkness", "Wonderful Tonight" and "Sunshine of your Love". Remaster job is excellent for the audio but the bonus of seeing him perform is priceless.

All three of these concert DVDs are a must-have for any Clapton Fan!

The video was good for a recording from the 1990's. The audio was very good. The orchestral version is a good change from a rock band. Anyone who enjoys Clapton should enjoy this DVD.

I remember when 24 Nights was first released and some critics were not favorable to it. I mentioned that to the record store proprietor where I purchased music and he said then it's probably good. Fast forward to now and 24 Nights has been elusive meaning not as much availability and not on the music service I use. When I heard about the DVD and expanded 24 Night music I was thrilled. I listened to the orchestral version first out of curiosity. I knew it would be good, but I questioned mixing blues and orchestra. Clapton is one of the greatest blues guitarist and guitarist overall ever. Thus, I knew the goods would outweigh bads if there were any bads. No bads. The program delivers in a big way. The mix of orchestra and Clapton and company is fresh and puts a great spin on every note by all band and orchestral musicians. Some of the blues and rock purist loving Clapton fans may have mixed feelings about the orchestral version. I think it's wonderful tonight and all other times. One other thought; shooting film back in 90 wasn't anything close to what it has become however, the video quality is crisp, sound is great and I like how screens are split every so often to give it some video umphhh! Definitely recommended! and of course the blues and rock versions as well!

My first set was replaced because the 3rd CD was unreadable. The CD set was promptly replaced with a the new set, the 2nd set of CD’s didn’t work either, 1 and 2 were unreadable. I was refunded, I wouldn’t rather have a working set
