Easy to install. Works great and is heavy duty 😎. Old house was leaking on the fittings. Now it’s like a new hose for a fraction of the cost 💲

If you have a garden hose with connectors like the ones in the picture, you will need this repair. This new hose leaked from day one. These repair parts quickly fixed my problem. I just cut off the end of the hose and screwed on the new male connector. No more leaks. Also, the threaded part is long enough that you can screw down various sprayers without having to use two gaskets. The metal clamp is nice and smooth and works better than a screw-clamp. The female connector was corroded onto the faucet and I used pliers to unscrew it, but almost bent the faucet pipe. Couldn’t use Liquid Wrench. Had to cut off the connector and replace with this brass one. Can easily remove by hand now.

The only shortcoming is the main reason why I like them; screwing the two sides together properly requires muscle, or a vice, or a crescent wrench. I will be 80 in January and all that I had was to (A) hold the base in a vice to help squeeze one side closer to the other, (B) manually screw one side in, then (C) turn the item over, squeeze the second side together and (D) screw it snug. (E) To make sure there was no micro leaking I repeated the process; the final snug was easy and only required one or two circles of the screw driver. All the other repair kits that I used leaked, but this one DOESN'T LEAK A DROP. THERE IS A BONUS: The kit contains not 3 sets but 3 male repair sub kits and 3 female repair sub kits. IF ONLY ONE HOSE IS DAMAGED WHY REPAIR THE OTHER HOSE IF IT ISN'T DAMAGED? I only used one of the six sub kits. THE GDIM Garden Hose repair kits are probably the most satisfying purchase that I've made on Amazon and certainly the best lawn & garden item that I have ever bought! 5 STARS!
