Luckily I had some really nice quality caps left from the disposable Infantino pouches--I couldn't ...
I am using this with my 7 month old in lieu of spoon feeding at this stage (messy, time consuming, distracted by teething on the spoon, angry not getting fed fast enough--these pouches solved all of those problems)...she has already learned how to use a straw sippy cup as a result! I got the mini size for her and the large for my 3 year old.I have only been using them for one week so cannot speak to the durability. For the price I expect them to last a year with daily usage. So far they zip together well, although the opening is small. I use these with the Infantino fill station, but just attach the fill tube and fill it that way instead of hooking up to the big station (cumbersome)--you get more in than with pouring and then zipping. The white cap is simply awful. I don't know why they used such a cheap cap!! It's ugly and little white plastic pieces stick out which are left from the safety seal and do not come off!! Luckily I had some really nice quality caps left from the disposable Infantino pouches--I couldn't believe such nice caps were meant to be disposable. Funny! You really need a good round bottle brush and a pipe cleaner to get these clean. Flare them open on the bottom both when filling and when washing/drying.

Great Product, a Bit Hard to Clean
I purchased these pouches (3.4 oz size) a couple of months ago to use with my own purees and they are wonderful for parents who make or mix their own purees. They work well at home or on-the-go.Thicker purees or those with finely chopped food can be used because the spout is nicely sized, so this can be used as babies transition to more solid foods. They don't leak, other baby food pouch lids are compatible with them, and the zippers work very well - so far no unexpected messes. The reason I can't give a five-star review is they are a bit hard to clean. The bottom is clear, and you can see stains of previous food where the bottom meets the side of the pouch, in spite of repeated, thorough washing targeting that area. Maybe this isn't such a problem with the larger pouch. The spout is easy to clean - a brush for a straw works perfectly - but the outside of it has a lot of nooks and crannies that can cake with food. They clean up more easily if rinsed immediately after use (don't let the food dry out in the pouch or around the spout). They also wash well in the dishwasher.

Great size, odd design
This is a perfect size.... but my little one got confused by the fact that the base was not directly below the nozzle with the nozzle being on the side of the pouch rather than at the top. I’m not sure why it was designed this way, maybe during testing, it improved flow? I’m not sure... but I didn’t think about it when ordering and am not sure whether it has confused anyone else’s kids!

Great solution for a baby that rejects the spoon.
I purchased these pouches when my 10-month old started rejecting spoon feeding. She learned to eat finger foods and then seemed to want to feed herself all the time--no spoons from mama allowed! I have only been using them for a couple of weeks, but so far, these pouches are fantastic! My daughter was interested in the pouch right away, though it took her a while to figure out how to use it properly. It took her a little while to figure out the sucking action--we had several meal times during which she blew into the pouch, chewed on it, squirted the contents onto her hands and then licked her fingers. But eventually she figured it out, and after that she was able to happily consume the pouch's contents with no trouble (and much less mess). Baby is happy to control her feeding and I am happy that we can put applesauce, yogurt, and soups back on the menu!I wanted to address a couple of complaints in the comments. I suspect that these problems result from user error rather than product design. I have read that the pouch is too small and can't possibly fit 3.4 ounces. I have not tried 3.4 ounces in particular, but the 2-ounce meals I have been preparing fit with room to spare. The pouch arrives flat and must be opened by blowing into the spout. Once you inflate the pouch, it is much wider and has a much greater capacity. I have also read that these are difficult to clean. I have had no trouble. Again, you need to blow into the pouch to inflate it so you can reach the crevices, but after that, hot water takes care of the mess with no trouble. Like most dishes, it is much easier to clean if you rinse it right away, rather than allowing old apple sauce to harden inside.

Could be better, but usable overall
The concept of a reusable pouch is great. However, these pouches are only great in concept. They are severely lacking for everyday practical use.Pros:-Reusable-Strong zippered seal-Cap is large enough to keep up with-Dishwasher safeCons:- Hard to open to it's full size. The bottom 'flaps' stick to each other and are hard to separate to allow you to fill the pouch properly.-INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO CLEAN. If you have a Dr. Brown's nipple brush, you're a step ahead of the cleaning game. If not, good luck.-Does not get clean in the dishwasher. Minuscule food particles get stuck around the inside pouch part.-Difficult to fill because of the tabs on the top. They get in the way unless you have the time to use a funnel and a food that is thin enough to use a funnel.-Very hard plastic means they are difficult to fill, to properly open and to wash. There's probably a good reason the non-refillable pouches are a softer, more malleable material.Overall, I probably won't purchase more and will make the best out of what I have.
