Parliament Leather Wallet for Men - RFID Blocking - Caramel, Pop Up

After researching many options, I chose Ekster. First impressions where good, nicely packaged, it looks smart. The practical reality is less positive, out of the box the leather is slightly scuffed, I assume in manufacture, but not enough to send back (I assume it will get scuffed as I use it day to day). I can only fit 4 cards (safely) in the main compartment, 3 are embossed, one is not. I tried a 5th flat card but it was so tight I was worried I would break the mechanism. This means I have 1 card that is not protected. As others have mentioned, if you use both slots on the inside of the leather case for cards, the cover wont close (see photo). This is with 3 non-embossed cards on the inside and 2 on the outside slot. The leather hinge just needs to be a fraction longer so it can close better. At the end, it can take 9 cards in total (3 embossed, 6 flat) I still like the look of the wallet and will be road testing it for the next few weeks and can always revert back to my big, old wallet if required (much to the amusement of my friends!) Hope this is useful.

Nothing really to complain about apart from my Amex metal card sliding out when the wallet is held upside down and shaken. All the other cards stay. Once fully loaded it will remain significantly open, however this settles down in a week or so. The mechanism appears to work well as long as the right number of cards (4 + 1 metal) are slotted. Overall does the job, but I’m not too sure the premium pricing strategy will last much longer

Paid £95 for this wallet end off august, only used this wallet 4 times prior as I work away. Used it today for the 5th time today and I could get my cards out. Faulty goods not acceptable

Like it so far. Very tiny and love the cards showing up upon the press of a button. I added a “tracker card” linked to my iphone tracking system. When i put it in a unusual place i can make it ring. Its a minimalist wallet and not very suited for cash. Great for the cards

Case is quite stylish and compact. I put 3 and 4 cards in the card slot. I did not get a solid or audible click to say the cards were seated. Turning the wallet upside down and my cards slid right not and without any shaking. I did not feel that my cards were safe and secure inside this one. When I put two cards in the inside pocket, the wallet did not close well and the flap stuck out further if I put a few bills inside the cash strap. I had high hopes for this one but it just did not cut the mustard for me. Not a good value for my money

Nice enough looking wallet, but once you get it some of the serious flaws become clearer, which make it as a daily driver wallet a bad idea. Cons, if you have the wallet “upside down” from where you insert the cards they can fall out. Not easily fortunately, and just turning it upside down they don’t, but any semi erratic movement in that manner they fall out. I can 100% forsee putting it in my pocket that way without thinking and pulling it out quickly and dropping cards not realizing because it’s already happened in my testing while I’m paying attention. Be 100% aware if using this wallet in a dark/loud place. Also the wallet is the same size whether you have 2 or 6 cards in it, unlike some other wallets that extend based on the number of cards. Although I suspect this has to do with the button mechanism. The material feels cheap. For a $100 wallet it should be using higher quality hides. As far as pros, the pop up feature works well, just be careful not to press too hard. The design in terms of layout is perfect. It looks premium (which might be a conversation starter at the very least) In the end I can’t recommend this wallet. If the materials were higher quality I could probably look past some of the functional flaws which can be avoided with caution. But as it is no Bueno. If I feel different after using it a while I will update review, but as it stands I’ll probably use this wallet just long enough to justify buying another where I don’t feel bad throwing $100 down the drain.

Excellent card holder, not too sure about the elastic band for a money clip. Time will tell.

I love this wallet just because of its size alone. The leather is nice looking and the stitching is good. It holds a good number of cards and the extra two spots on the inside of the cover are just a great little bonus.
