Good quality, much easier to use than conventional rt angled Allen keys

Imperial, ball end, hexagon screwdrivers. Straight, black oxide finish, hexagon blades. Used to gently start deep set grub screws, blade straightness is paramount for deeply recessed grub screws as tip will not locate in hexagon recess if blade is bent. When hand torque is applied blade will flex, then stop. Finish tightening with square ended hexagon key of the same size. Ball ended hexagon keys are not designed for high torque applications. If you are heavy handed, blade will snap. Set composition: 5/32" x 8" overall length. 9/64" x 7" overall length. 1/8" x 6 5/8" overall length. 7/64" x 5 1/4" overall length. 3/32" x 5 1/4" overall length. 5/64" x 4 3/4" overall length. 1/16" x 4 5/8" overall length. .050" x 4" overall length. 4 sided, high grip rubber handles with anti roll flats. Just what you can expect from Bondhus, excellent built quality, comfortable to use, they work well especially the ballend, good grip so you can apply plenty of torque.The hex on these doesn't seem to strip heads as much as cheaper brands.Good tools.

If you’re like me (and hopefully you’re not) you’ve accumulated dozens of sets of hex wrenches over the years and you have a terrible time keeping them all together and organized. Do I spend an afternoon finding all my hex wrenches and organizing them, or do I just buy another set? Of course I buy another set! And my thought process is: if I buy a nice set with handles it’ll help me keep them organized. Well, so far it’s worked.I came across these drivers on Amazon (I had never heard of Bondhus before) and I liked the looks, I liked the price, and I liked the fact they were made in the USA. And they come with a lifetime warranty to boot. They are made from a custom blended steel called Protanium High Torque Steel. Admittedly, I’m no material scientist so I don’t know how much of this is just marketing and how much is real science, but I read enough of their literature to realize they really use this as a discriminator amongst other competitors. Here’s my opinion: I’m sure it’s no worse than other steels, and if Bondhus is trying to set themselves apart and try new things with the steel they use, then that’s a good thing. Plus, if they can do this and still sell a good product at a good price, then I’m all for it.I’ve only used some of the larger sizes so far and the handles felt nice in my hands. I can’t make a comment on how the really small drivers felt (other reviewers say they are way too small), but I think that would actually be a nice thing to help prevent over tightening the fastener or breaking the tool.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.
