I have been using this for about 2 weeks and find it a reliable source of fibre. Although I eat lots of fruit, veg and other fibre each day, I find that on odd days where my intake is less, this keeps my levels up. I have had no adverse affects so far, but personally find 30 gm is slightly too much for me. It is easy to find the best level personal to you. I have only had this in drinks and juices, but it mixes well and only once could I detect a change in taste, nothing unpleasant so not an issue.

I have this powder in my bed time tea so it has overnight to work! It really doesn’t alter the taste or consistency of my drink! However, i don’t think its the best for my stomach, I’ve had it twice now and both days my stomach has been in a fair amount of pain and needing to go to the toilet immediately. I only have 1 tiny scoop, i did half last night to see if it was any different. Overall this product is great if you need an effective laxative, but not great if you want to have a productive day!

Started slowly just with a qrt of a scoop, now on a full scoop a day - no adverse side-effects. I dissolve it in a little hot water, let it cool and then add it to my vitamin drink - can’t taste it at all ( as the fruity taste of the vitamin drink masks it well). Would recommend

I say 'not bad' because years ago my gastroenterologist put me on Normacol (sterculia) and without standing overly dramatic, it really was life-changing. Sadly, Norgine (importers) have ceased distribution of the product (supply disruption, they say (sterculia is cropped from a variety of tree in India)), so utterly disappointingly, I've been scouring the corridors of natural bulk-forming products to find an equivalent. The usual suggestion is ispaghula, but it's a horrid and very unuserfriendly substance to take (turns into wallpaper paste the second you add water). Acacia gum is reputedly a good alternative. It's an alternative, but not an equivalent. The suggested dose is nowhere near enough for me (I have to take three times as much) and I have to take it along with other alternatives to get anywhere near the efficacy of sterculia. But, so far, it's the best I've found. The search continues but in the process, this is my go-to.

Has a strange smell to it.

Easy to use daily and it does exactly what it says in the description. The pack lasts more than a month. Definitely recommended as an easy way of getting more fibre into your diet.

I struggle hitting the recommend 30g fibre daily intake and wanted to give a suppliment a try. Just tried it mixed into a protein yoghurt and yeah, couldn't taste it at all and it made me feel pretty full after. Will definitely try experimenting with this :)
