No, it can't work like that. It just works as a radio or as a bluetooth speaker.

The product information uses sd & micro sd interchangeably! It's a micro sd card slot not sd right? Can I connect via usb to copy files to micro SD?

It is a microSD slot. I don't know the answer to the 2nd part of your question - I copy my files through a card reader on my pc.
