yes, they work well in hot weather

Q: How how durable are the soles how long do they last before they start to tear apart?

The soles are very comfortable and very durable. I'm currently wearing them on a construction site in them for 12+ hours a day with a lot of walking and they hold up very well

Q: can you put aftermarket insole in with true fit sizing or do you have to buy 1/2 size larger?

D ont know about the insert. Need 1/2 size larger for composite toe
